This Test someone showed me just now is kind of interesting. I scored 11/20 correct. I felt like I was totally guessing each time. :?

I looked at eyes and how quickly their mouth's went back to non smiling. I can't say i have an instinct for it though. The description of the difference between fake and genuine was interesting.

I was watching how their moth went back to normal. Most of the real smiles had an aftershock smile on the way back.

Made it through the 3rd or 4th - they were all more freaky than fake

I think most of my social awkwardness is because I don't trust people. I answered 'fake' on most of them.

lol 13.

Its really hard to tell with some of them.

I guess most seem obviously fake because it was a controlled environment. I ticked more as being guenuine though.

8/20... I guessed on a lot of them because almost all of them looked genuine to me.

It says most people are "surprisingly bad at spotting fake smiles" so I doubt it means anything.

Interesting, I wonder what the ratio average is for an NT?

I did very well. 17 out of 20.

The mouth movement is different for the fake smiles, it seems. The three I got wrong were fakes I labeled genuine, but I remember them being very large smiles.

10/20. Most of the ones I got wrong were genuine smiles that I marked fake.

I did worse on this than I thought, most looked fake to me, some just looked freaky so I labeled fake on them too. I gave some a benifit of a doubt. But most of it was guessing really.
however the ones I knew were fake, I was right.

Interesting how they ask you if you are an oppitmist or pessimist before starting the test I wonder how that affects your ability to tell fake from real smiles...I lean more towards pessimism...I hate that though, I used to be an opptimist before my life went to hell in a hand basket.
