Serious? I have to go check that spot again!

Most leaves on a clover for me was seven. Five regular leaves and two tiny mutant ones.;-)

But as you can see, I am not exactly a prolific poster. As for our own jokes, we tend to mainly inherit from chemistry and math.

Well i'm not exactly post-verbose myself, so nice to chat to everyone here.

Ok. Cheesy physics humour warning. Well of course there's the excellent maths & physics cartoons c/o xkcd, but for puns how about :

Always respect angular momentum, because careless torque costs lives.

Krypton walks into a bar and orders a glass of beer. The bartender says, “I’m sorry, we don’t serve noble gases”. Krypton doesn’t react. (ok that's physical chemistry)

A superconductor walks into a bar and orders a glass of beer. The bartender says, “I’m sorry, we don’t serve superconductors.” The superconductor offers no resistance.

A Higgs Boson walks into church. The priest says, “I’m sorry, but ‘God particles’ are not welcome here.” The Higgs Boson replies, “But without me, you cannot have mass.”

Does that count as the OP derailing the thread? Have mercy oh wise all-thread-cogniscent Moog

Oh well, i'm on a roll ...

Q: What's the difference between a quantum mechanic and an auto mechanic?
A: A quantum mechanic can get his car into the garage without opening the door.

Seen on the door to a light-wave lab:
"CAUTION! Do not look into laser with remaining good eye."

Why did the cat slide off the roof?
It didn't have enough Mu.

It's ok, i'll stop now. :)

Nier, what an interesting experience you had! :o
I've had strange things happen to my visual field when tired, too. For example, one night when I was nearly exhausted, I suddenly felt like I was losing my sight! Scared me, but after I decided to rest my eyes for awhile, it cleared up again. I also think once or twice something similar to your experience happened to me, as well.
A tired brain can play some strange tricks, but as long as they're helpful to us, let 'em come! :D

My first wife once tried that, and then I had to fix that door!
