Anything will do. Anyone can be 'evil'. Not just the Germans.

I don't get why you got this idea into your head that you were 'cheating' on other cartoons lol (sorry it's kind of funny).

I feel the same way as MagicMeerkat when I get a new special interest. I feel like I'm "neglecting" the old ones and "cheating" on them. It's only natural, really- when you combine intense Aspie loyalty and honesty with a passion and caring for special interests that is as intense as your closest loved ones, you're bound to want to love them all the same and not have one feel "left out."

I feel exactly the same way about my special interests. The more emotionally attached I am to a specific interest, the guiltier I feel about developing new interests. Last year I was obsessed with a couple of movies that Tim Burton directed, the most intense focus being directed towards Alice in Wonderland. It continued on into this year, but by the time summer rolled around, I knew deep down that the interest was fading. After all, you can only watch the same movies so many times before becoming bored of them. I was even starting to become bored of the characters I had once loved so dearly.

I returned to my old lifelong interest in anime around mid-July (according to my diary), but to this day I still feel extremely guilty about not being obsessed with Tim Burton's movies anymore. I feel like I have betrayed my favorite characters from those movies, especially Alice - who, in my imaginary world, had been my "sister". I have since found new characters to love and welcome into my imaginary world, but I can't help but feel that somewhere in my imaginary world, the characters from yesteryear's obsession are heartbroken and crying.
