I can flap my hands very fast. So i have tried and succeeded in using my hand flapping stim for a few good reasons. In video games i hold the controler up to my cheat and flap my hands on the button i want. I can hit the button at about 6-7 times a second. I have also been able to shake things like salads or ketchup very fast for mixing.

My leg bouncing can help me get play coins with out work in my 3ds.

Rocking is something i have no idea what it can be used for yet.

What sbout you. Do you have any uses other then calming down you stim for.

Reported for cheating. Prepare to be banned from video games!

Rocking can be used to accelerate a rocking chair. Works great!

Oooo - walking babies with that little bounce, bounce, bounce - mother's of colicky babies everywhere would be so grateful!

And how about being the one to push the merry-go-round at the park, or give swing rides? Mothers might pay for this service

Now, if the rocking chair was hooked up to some mechanism, we might be able to generate power for some device? Green energy for the home?

I always thought I should hire myself out as a tester for some products to see if they will hold up. Corelle plates for example- unbreakable indeed, hmph!

Exercising the cat with a laser pointer or a dangle toy is fun and good for the cat!

Spinning wool? Winding balls of crochet thread? Churning butter? Sorting buttons? Rolling change? Winding clocks? Spreading concrete? give the job to me

My youngest son actually makes a good living blasting off paint - hey, there is pay to be had!

I doubt any of mine could ever be used for any sort of practical reasons. My main one is twirling my hair around with my fingers until it becomes a tangled up mess and sometimes I pull some out of my head because of this and I get hair everywhere and have to clean it up quite often. I doubt this one could ever be used for anything practical...

It doesn't relate to my stimming, but I like to think my hyperactivity and constant need to move works to help other people sit on their ass as I get stuff out of the fridge in the backyard shed for them. Then I give them what they adked for. Because I'm a nice person :D

My mom says I apparently pace a few hours a day. It burns calories? Maybe I could burn more calories if I went from pacing to imaginary jump roping around my house.

It's useful at work. If a kid wants to sit in the sensory room for hours on end I'm more than happy to do that, and just sit quietly with sensory toys or looking at the lights. It also means I'll try whatever they're doing, so if they're playing with water, I'll do the same. If they're running back and forth or pacing, I'll do the same. I think my colleagues think I'm really good at connecting with the children, whereas I'm just enjoying being there as much as them!

I don't have to brush my hair because I run my fingers through it stimming.

Tapping and rocking have helped with drumming for me lol. Countless times I've rocked or tapped things only for it to turn into a new beat to transfer over to drums. Not really one other people appreciate given the noise
