By "Happy", I mean that you are currently experiencing any positive feelings, from simple relief to ecstatic joy.

Judging from the general tone on this forum the last week or so, I'd say you'll get alot of agreement.

No, because it means I have to go back to work. My holidays were rather quiet.

I lost my cousin, car is in the shop, missed Thanksgiving due to parents going somewhere else, did a very brief open presents-cook for 10-12 people on Christmas Day, worked New Year's Eve and got slammed, so yeah...

I'm glad something is over, I feel like I wasn't really there for any of it.... just an empty *whoooosh* and it's January 2nd. 8O

I liked your poll options :) , but I voted for ''other''. I didn't really want the Christmas period to end, yet I did at the same time. It was nice to have all the Christmas tree all up and seeing Christmas lights everywhere and people playing Christmas songs in shops and the nice Christmassy atmosphere and now I'm feeling sad that it's suddenly all over.....but at the moment I'm glad it's all over with and we could all get back to normal again.

I get these mixed feelings every Christmas, and I'm not the only one either. On new years day I heard 2 NTs in my family talking about the how they were feeling about the Christmas period ending, and they both agreed that they do want to go back to work and get back to normal, but yet they don't at the same time. One of them said ''I don't want to go to work tomorrow....but then again, what would I be doing just at home after having all this time off? I might aswell be at work really, and I will be glad to get back to normal.''

That's exactly how I feel about it too.

I had time off from Dec. 22 to Jan. 1. It was fun, but it seemed that every holiday celebration was 20 or more miles away, and we sometimes had as many as three events to attend (big family plus church-related duties).

Most of the time, I just sat around and ate holiday food -- stuff folks normally seem to cook only between the Solstice and New Year's Day.

I'll be glad when I can just go back to college and have a normal schedule again. I'm completely exhausted from all the visiting I've had to do these two weeks.

I'm very unhappy that the holidays are over. I think I'll sleep until Spring comes.

I wish they would never end. It means I am halfway to my birthday now and will be another year older. I also like the decorations and the music. I know I can just keep them up and play the music anytime of the year. But it never feels right to just leave them up and listen to the music. Plus taking the stuff down is a pain in the neck. At least it's half down. My mom did it all yesterday. I just have to do the second floor.

I'm not at all happy, because this means that spring will soon be here, and I hate spring with a passion.
