Hi I was wondering if anyone else does this. Every time I get overly excited happy or hyper I squeel I make a high pitched Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! Sound I also flap my hands and sometimes jump up and down when I do this.

I sometimes flap my hands when I am overwhelmed with any emotion, including happiness. It feels like a tic, but I'm not sure if it is.

I do this too :D although instead of flapping, I tend to clap while squealing and jumping up and down...

If I'm really happy and/or excited I will run, dance, jump through the house, from one room to the other, and generally be very immature and childish. I would only squeel if I was alone though. And I do the hand flapping only very seldom, but I would stim in some way.

I get these weird bursts of positive energy, perhaps a joyful overstimulation, where I let out an "EEEEE!" and flap my hands. Like Sanctus, it is done in private.

I sometimes get excited and "squeak" or rather its sounds like high pitching slight tiny dog barking, my mother refers to it as beeping.
She'd say stop "beeping"
Its very hard to describe i guess

Yeah defiantly. Basically I clap my hands really fast and have a huge grin on my face. May even get up and prance about if I have too much energy. Being really jittery too.

I feel weird about it now actually haha..

I mostly pace a lot,I sway like a cobra when into music. and if I'm really happy sing stupid songs but I never do this in front of anyone. And I tend to smile way to much and laugh at the wrong time. When I was a teenager I pulled some real stupid stunts and got arrested and when the cops were fingerprinting me I started grinning, they are "this is not funny, you're in trouble!",me now laughing hysterically cops saying"Your likely going to be back here if that's your attitude!"I couldn't even look at them without laughing and it really was not funny at all.

When happy/exited I jump, hand flap and happy dance in private, I hop/skip whatever that is called when outside :) Oh I like silent discoing while waiting for trains as well - usually gets me a lot of looks but whatever.

I used to do something like this. It was a high pitch squeal or scream like sound, but I would have my mouth shut, it usually involved some jumping around too. I don't really do it all that much anymore, either I've suppressed it, or it's just a particular behavior of mine that subsided as I got older. I did this up until I was about 18 if my memory is correct. This is actually another thing that I've never known of anyone else doing. As I learn & talk to others about AS I'm finding out that a lot of my behaviors that I thought were unique to me, never knowing anyone else that did them, are common among those on the spectrum.

When I was with my (now ex) girlfriend, I would do this a lot!....She didn't know I had AS, probably just thought I was weird, looking back I did a lot of weird things around her  .

Imagine if we were all in the same room stimming and squeeling!
