Take Vitamin D tablets.

The rare person who has bothered to take my advice now reports she no longer catches colds and things like she used to, which is what I told her in the first place!
Vitamin D is huge. We need so much more of it than we realize. Being out in the sun is a good source of it too. But you have to wear shorts and tank tops so that a lot of your skin gets exposed.

if you are fair of skin you should go out at high noon but limit daily exposure to 10 minutes, no more. avoid sun blockers because that defeats the purpose of sun exposure, the tanning is a sign that you have gotten vitamin D assimilated into your system.

I dont suppose you work in a drug store by any chance?

Been in retail for much of my life in different kinds of stores. But when I worked at CVS I got more colds, and more severe colds, than ever before or ever since.

I think its because the customers there are there to buy Nyquil, and Robatussin, etc. You ring up and bag their merchandise after they handle it, and you take their money. The viruses are mostly spread by hand (not by breath).

No, I have not worked in retail in many years. But that would make a lot of sense. Kind of like being a school teacher.
