I couldn't agree more. But how do you feel about names that are commonly misspelled to the point you don't know it? You see Kaitlyn, a misspelling, more than you see Caitlin (the original).

Yeah.
That combined with that ...what I call "robot talk" by narrators of nonfiction vids on U-Tube.

U Tubers always mispronounce things. The Nazi war crime doctor who did hideous experiments named Dr Mengele - his name is pronounced Men-gel-layyy. Not "Min- GELL (rhymes with "olay" not with "bell"). Sorry. Its still fresh in my mind ( maybe he deserves to have his name butchered- but anyway...).

And what's up with that herky jerky way U Tube narrators talk? They sound like computer voices in elevators, and on phone answering machines: those sentences cobbled together from prerecorded snippets of people uttering syllables- that then get spliced together- this is a call from ...and each digit is spoken in a different pitch, and in a different volume.

Must be from both excessive editing (because of amateurish announcing), and from clumsy editing.

Cant they just read copy into a mic, and sound human?

Just checking that your not confusing actual voices with digital text to speech voices like Microsofts Sam/Mike/Mary which are common on certain youtube videos but are still annoying.

i don't think it's a misspelling, just an alternative spelling from a different region. similar to how aleksandar and ema are the serbian spellings of alexander and emma in english.

the rhyming "aiden" names though.....jayden, aiden, braiden, kaiden, zayden, hfgrefhwgfwihfaiden......

Well...that must be the answer to the very thing I am asking about. Am not "confusing" two things, its that it didn't occur to me that you could do that.

Just watched a vid about how DNA testing solved mysteries in several instances. One involved Dr. Mengele. The narration alternated between a male voice for a few minutes, and then a female voice for the next story.

I imagine all of these U Tube folks being in little home studios speaking into microphones.

But that must be it-it was one of the occasions when the U-Tuber used digital text-to-voice software. Someone produces the video, and then writes copy. But instead of reading the copy themselves into a mic, or getting someone to read it for them they just feed it into software (and you can pick a male, or a female voice in the software) and it comes out of a computer sounding like a glorified version of a phone answering machine- human- but herky-jerky. And being the old timer that I am I assume that its a real person reading it into a mic. Ya learn sumpin every day.

Yes.

Why hate on the country of Korea (both halves)?

I can understand someone hating the regime that rules the northern half of the country of Korea. But I don't understand why you would hate the unfortunates who live under that regime, nor why you would hate either the government, or the people, of South Korea.

I hate:

Having my style cramped
People telling me how I should want to be
People who think I should be cured of my autism
People who want me to be conventional

People telling me how I should do things they have no idea how to do themselves (like how I should draw when they can't even draw stick people, or how to write a story when they can barely write a complete sentence).

Telemarketers

People who sue for the most stupid reasons, especially if they win. Like this woman who got drenched in the rain after hearing the weather anchor saying it was going to be sunny, getting the flu afterwards, and then suing the weather anchor because of it.

People who drive badly and can't read the directions on a STOP sign.

People who post messages that look like they were written by a 5-year-old. I try to make sure that it's not only because English isn't their first language, though.

Becoming sick on a holiday or some other event I'm looking forward to.

People who think autism is a horrible disease that must be cured.

Flies and mosquitoes. I grew up in the country, so I'm no stranger to them.

Being stuck in my apartment on a hot, humid summer day with only the AC in the living room to give me relief.

Dust. All over everything. And then you dust it and five seconds later it's dusty again.

The debilitating side effects of medications that are worse than whatever ailment they supposedly treat.

The American ads for such drugs. How many drugs are there for psoriasis, now? Psoriasis isn't fatal or contagious, but there are at least two side effects that are possibly fatal. And there was one for eye irritation from allergies that said you could get glaucoma from it! Yeah, that's a fair trade.

Hearing "autistic" being used as an insult.

People saying "go kill yourself" online. Some people might actually do just that.

People saying "first" in the comments of a video. What do they expect, a trophy or something? In fact I've noticed more YouTubers putting their own comments in first possibly just so others won't say "first".

The fact that most of the world's current leaders and politicians are probably sociopaths. I was reading last night that many sociopaths are actually quite successful because they don't care about other people at all, they're very good at lying and pretending they care, in fact they lie so much telling the truth feels weird and unnatural to them. They have huge egos, and they are usually charming and generous (at first anyway), only because they know that gets them what they want.

People who think aspies are sociopaths. (Most aspies have traits that are the polar opposite when it comes to socializing and are more likely to become the victims of sociopaths)

Containers that are really hard to open and/or close--or those that open way too easily or won't stay closed

Melodramatic narration
Conspicuous or frenetic background music on a show (especially if it clashes with the visuals)
