Yes, I note that acording to section 299.80 of the DSM-IV, criterion F is specified as:

"Criteria are not met for another specific Pervasive Developmental Disorder or Schizophrenia."

I’ve always thought that’s kind of a throw-away requirement, since AS is a spectrum disorder which defies precise definition. Personally, I do not believe AS and schizotypal personality are mutually exclusive (though I note that schizotypal personality and schizophrenia are not exactly the same thing), and defining them as such is an error, or needs a bit of re-wording at least.

Good gods! Freya, again? I just sent my depressed MySpace friend this [in part]:

Freya was the goddess I was talking about. I've run into her in various incarnations an inordinate number of times recently. I send that message, and moments later there is a post-reply alert in my inbox which jumps to a message from Freya, and the message has to do with the schizotypal test of all things.

My arm is now covered with burning, blistery welts. Freya, I expect you to uphold your side of the bargain.

I just read on wikipedia that this condition (schizophrenic personality disorder) can be co-morbid with, amongst other things, AS

This test freaked me out and I wish I hadn't taken it.
52.5 out of 74. Is that high? Gawd.

FYI, schizotypal disorder has a massive list of differential disorders; this following list is taken from the link TheMachine1 posted:

I was going to look into this more and find out before I posted where I stood compared with others, concerned about appearing really nuts, but then thought "Well, duh, of course that is the way I would look at posting these results", so here they are. NOW, I am going to check out what they mean. What leap of faith, yay me.
