How to stop worrying what you smell like

Ok I have a big problem with ocd and my body smell. I clean obsessivly in the shower even though for only like 7 minutes. When I get out I worry about what I smell like especially my bottom. I reach down there alot and wipe a finger there to see what it smells like. Also when I fart I worry whether something came out or if the fart made my bottom smell horribly or when I do have sex I will fart while having sex and disgust the other person. I hope this does not offend anyone even though if it did I would not know it did. Im just wondering what should I do to not worry so much.

Its my ocd. I know I dont smell and clean extremely well but I still worry obsessively.

Forgive me I'm not a natural but putting on the shrinks shoes for a minute...

What you is a kind of logic. Answers to these questions:

What is smell?
How much do people smell?
How much/little can people smell?
What people like or dislike about farting?
Is body odour always bad?
Do cleaning products make you smell better?
Do people fart while having sex and does it matter?

Look them up.

Did you know that the average person passes wind around 10-20 times a night? Sorry I don't know where I get these random facts

My mother has said regularly to my father, myself and my brother AFTER we came out of the shower, "what is that stink? did you put on something? Ag, I can't stand it." She always said that my father and I smelled bad naturally but you know what? I noticed when I was a baby that my mother has chronic halitosis and she has it even after she brushes her teeth and she completely does not care. literally, she thinks her breath don't stink. She does it to my brother more now since he showers more - I stopped showering as much because she always blamed the hair in the bathroom on me even if I hadn't been in the shower. He comes out of the shower smelling like his fruity shampoo (I don't mind the smell) and she pulls that WHAT is that smell. So the person with the decades long halitosis in my house is the one who claims other people smell "unbearable." She also has sour feet but my father and I with our unaristocratic feet bones - our feet are scent free - I am not making this up - neither of us have a foot odor problem and that's uncommon.

So if you can't help but worry about it, so be it but it is not that important. Not ending up with a deceitful b***h in your house is way more important than your Mal (in your own mind) Odor.

people won't smell your bottom but if your sticking your finger there they are apt to smell it on your finger being as your finger will unbdoubtedly be much closer to their nose, and of course will be touching things you hand to them

My mother has commented about how odd it is that I have no foot odor problem. My SHOES don't even smell, and my socks don't even after the day is over. In fact, for WEEKS, my new shoes just smell like leather.

As for your mother. If she brushes, uses a proper mouthwash, like listerine, and tries to get her tounge and mouth, maybe she isn't flossing. Good luck trying to get her to change her ways though. 8-(

i smell awful. but i wont wear deoderant, i cant be botherd to because i just dont feel like doing it, and the only reason i see why people do it is for other people. well screw other people

When I was 9 I used to rub these roll-on perfume things all over me, and put random other nice-smelling stuff on, until every inch of my skin smelled like perfume.

I think one of the worst smells is perfume. And with the finger the thing is if it smells bad I go right to the bathroom. And I just do it when I am able to wash my hands. And it usually just either smells like soap or sweat.

OP, ill admit on occasion I do check to make sure i dont smell, tho only during the summer, i mean i dont stick a finger anywhere... but i will check to make sure my deoderant is still working, especally if ive been workin hard..

i dont know what to tell ya other then that... but the finger thing... a little rough
