This is a strange question - but yes, when it comes to this, there is music that makes me pace like crazy (usually music with a strong beat, like techno or bands like Modern Talking and Abba) and music that elicits no such response, though I will still listen to it while walking (usually classic, art rock or certain types of New Age music that I like). I enjoy listening to both, and both help get my mind working, only in different ways. The first makes my thoughts race and pile up on top of each other, and can get me caught up in them, to a point of almost losing awareness of my surroundings; it also makes me fantasize much more intensely. The second, on the contrary, makes me relaxed and thoughtful, though it is usually far more "colorful" and emotionally intense. It helps me come up with new ideas, too, but in a more serene manner, without losing myself in my own thinking.

Beautiful music. I highly recommend him to people that need a calming, creative boost.

odd - I listened to a few excepts, and found it at best boring,. at worst grating...

my uncle has the same name!

Common. Most people don't like ambient music, but I find it helps me zone in. Especially the desert-ambient stuff Roach has made.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Autism Speaks will NEVER speak for me

Music actually has nothing to do with my stim level.
One day I can be listening to music and be sitting completely still.
Another day I could be listening to the exact same piece of music and not be able to stop stimming.

It varies widely.
