I am actually very picky about my food and hate to take the time to cook or eat. I actually find the necessity to eat very distressful and disturbing to my desired routine.

Being that I just spent 3 hours today trying to get a batch of salsa exactly the way I wanted it...I would have to say yes, I love cookng, eating, and thinking about food.

I am obsessed with food.

I love to eat, look at the food in the supermarket, and have all things fruit related all through my room.

I adore food but I wish I didn't go all hypoglycemic when I eat too much carbohydrates or the occasional sugar. :( :( :(

Sigh. My body is starting to hate me.

Oh yes....I adore food!! Cooking it, eating it, buying it, growing it, even thinking about it....if it has to do with food I like it!! !! I think it might be a minor obsession, but I know I've had major intense obsessions with certain foods, like nectarines, tea(tea was a big one) and certain recipes. When I obsess over a recipe I take a recipe from a cookbook and refine it until it is knock-your-socks-off good. I'm not generally a proud person, but I can make a meal to impress just about anyone :D

I think you could say that certain types of food are an obsession for me. Whenever a new type of snack, candy, or especially a new type of soft drink comes out, I just HAVE to try it. I'm also more likely to pay attention to packaging and ingredient labels and stuff (and not just because I'm diet-conscious). And I post on the "Salute to Soda" and "BevNet" message boards.

Of course, I also have an insatiable appetite. I used to be pickier about my food (I used to only eat chicken in McNugget form, and only eat cheese on pizza), but not so much anymore. Of course, there are certain foods I love above all - spicy Chinese and Mexican food, certain Hungarian dishes, pasta, etc.

I'm an extremely picky aspie and the father of an extremely pick aspiette. But we both adore certain types of foods, cheesecakes, veal, corn on the cob, fresh picked tomato's, etc.

Peace

Mcjunk or Burgersling is only useful when there is nothing else and your desperate for something before you go hypoglycemic!!

I enjoy cooking, too!! ! Something for which my wife is profoundly grateful, since I'm the stay-home-dad, aka, househusband!! !! (and LOVING it! 8) )

Peace

I see food as a necessary evil. Same thing with cooking. I don't care about it, rarely devote any attention to it (I prefer to occupy myself with something else while I'm eating), and I can take forever to finish a meal. I'm currently trying to learn how to absorb nutrients from the air.
