whats needed is a search that lets you search (subjects based on category) + added (optional) search the whole subject (message body) for more key words to thin things down even more, then add to that the already existing search by the posters names option.
not everyone will use it, but its good to have it as an option for research, it may reduce some of the repeat postings, and also it will allow others to find and link the posts to the new existing threads easier out of the archives if they like.
Also, this would help those wanting to do researching for books.
What would also be helpful is an Advice section to where the cumulated advice from different postings could be added (but someone would have to actually research it work on it.).
