Electricity in your body?
Something strange happens to me. I am quiet, sat down or about to fall sleep, and suddenly there is like a little electric shock all over my body, or like a short-circuit, so I tremble or something like that. I'm not epileptic or anything like that.
Has this ever happened to you? does it have anything to do with Asperger's or is it a completely unrelated event? what could be the cause?
I had a similar experience once about 10 years ago...It was an electric shock going from my head through my entire body...Never did figure out what it was...but it doesn't really happen anymore...back around that time, I also felt my head numb many times...also my back...it doesn't seem to happen anymore either...
PS - I do think there is something about that...my kiddo and I seem to break things...like my IPHONE and other delicate type phones I've had...they seem to go crazy after me holding them a while...The light in my car has NOT worked for over 3 years...two days ago my kiddo touched it and fixed it...he's only 6...not sure...but I think there is some type of electricity thing going on...I've read also in Crystal Children books about this...about lights and appliances breaking frequently because of it...
Yes. I experience similar symptoms. I call it feeling tingly.
I'll also sit in a way that makes my lower back feel slightly numb and I'll feel tingly waves from head to toe(Without the trembling), it feels really good. Sometimes my right thumb will twitch, I don't know why. When I spin in a swivel chair and get dizzy I kind of feel tingly at the top of my head/brain. Sometimes when I'm really tired my eyes will clamp shut for a few seconds and I'll feel tingly and my arms or legs will tremble.
None of it hurts or feels bad, I think it feels good, so I haven't worried about it.

Yes, I've been getting it as of late. Exactly like that.
I don't think it has to do with AS. Seems to be one of the many hypnagogic occurrences. . .
Just like related things I've had it when extremely tired. . . sometimes combined with Exploding Head Syndrome.

I think you're describing a myoclonic jerk. I get them too.

I have heard of many people who experience the jerks, especially before falling asleep, I got them frequently when I was younger.
Affecting electric appliances is different. Each person's body has a vibrational frequency. If the frequency is high, it affects electric currents around you. I blow out street lights sometimes when I drive at night. A friend of mine can't wear watches, they stop working as soon as she puts them on.

This is completely normal and a lot of people experience it.
It happens mainly when you are just drifting off to sleep...or when you are just waking up. I experience this almost everynight.
You don't have to be epileptic to experience this either.

The jerk you're feeling is a simple hypnic jerk or myoclonic jerk. Most people have them very frequently, and they're not a big deal. Sometimes they piss me off when they happen just as I'm about to fall asleep, but they're really harmless. Just relax and go to sleep.
Probably user error. Seriously, though, the electric charges in your brain aren't all that strong, and the tiny charges that travel through the nerves in the rest of your body are so small as to be totally irrelevant. Simple static electricity from rubbing your feet on the carpet is MUCH stronger and doesn't damage anything properly designed with that in mind. There isn't a significant magnetic field or anything in the body that would affect electronics. More likely, things just get jostled and break, loose wires slip, or devices simply behave unpredictably. Most likely, nothing is really happening. You're imagining a connection that isn't really there. Just a trick of the mind.
Consider this. Damage due to bumping or jostling something is 100% more likely to occur when you're touching the thing. Besides this, you'll tend to remember when something suddenly and unexpectedly breaks while there's nothing particularly memorable about something not breaking.
What you describe is absolutely mythical. There's no basis for this vibrational frequency even existing, much less affecting electric currents around you. This is the kind of belief that forms the basis of pseudosciences like crystal healing and such, and it's a lot of garbage and wishful thinking. Sometimes street lights just go out, and because you're there, you'll think you caused it. Does that make sense?

I did get that electric shock from within my body, actually felt like it was going up and down my spine. I got it while trying to sleep and trying this medication I took. needless to say I never took it again because these shocks kept me awake for hours and were very freqent.
I never experienced this feeling ever again.

It is not a belief that everything in the universe fibrates with an energy frequency, it is a fact.
I used to think the streetlight thing is a coincidence... there is lots of information on how water and electricity fields resonates with human energy fields. I know we can't see it with the naked eye but we can measure the results
