Again, I didn't quite know where to put this topic. I'm adopted and I was just wondering if any other aspies or possible aspies have been adopted and raised by their adoptive parents.

My mum. Pretty sure shes an aspie.

She was adopted by her uncle and aunt cause her real dad was a deadbeat and her real mum was 16 when she had her, and my mum was like, the 4th kid. So, yea. And she was about half dead when they got her.

It worked out ok, my grandpa was cool. My grandma, however, manipulative little bi***.

I'm not an aspie, im an autie but yea anyways who cares, i was adopted lol, i was born in columbia south america and now i live in the states. Both my brothers were adopted as well.

I have never been adopted. No one else in my family has ever been adopted. I have always had the same parents not different ones, even though certain people assume that I happen to be adopted 208.

Yes I was adopted by force . Look up forced adoption in Australia . Still dealing with it after forty fore years. Have instigated legal proceedings earlier this year. In the end my birth mother ended up marring my biological father and having five more kids did not know about them untill I was 32. Has been a total head f*** for me. As I was raised by very strict parents with no comprehension of how I function.

Yes, I was adopted at birth and brought up with that knowledge but only recently found out more details surrounding my adoption and my natural parents (both long dead now).

I'm not adopted, but I'd assume there's a higher number of aspie kids who are or who are in care, just as there are more children with learning disabilities or physical disabilities or other behavioural problems - it's often harder for parents to cope.

My mother was adopted. She has many issues but is not aspie. I'm nothing like her and so far only inherited color blindness carrier gene from her.

I'm not adopted but I gave a baby up for adoption. I don't understand how anyone can think that was bad. What else was I supposed to do, kill it at birth? I never wanted kids and can barely even take care of myself.

I'm not adopted, but I hope to adopt some day.
