If you could read you would learn that this bill is being pushed by some advocacy office in hawaii. No wonder people think were retarded

My dear, I think you are confusing an honest question with stupidity. I am very capable of reading and the internet is a very big place to search for information. Therefore,as one intelligent person to another, I would ask that you suspend your assumptions about my character as I have had the courtesy to suspend my judgment of yours.

I will when you learn to read before you ask questions.

Then point out the mistake. You are perfectly capable of doing so without name calling.I can only hope other people are more forgiving of your mistakes than you were of mine.

Nope, people need to learn to read something before they ask quesitons -

Ok, first of all, she just asked a question. Maybe her internet sucks so she can't follow the link or other technological problem. So don't start calling her retarded just because she asked an honest question.

Secondly, I despise it when people on the same side start fighting with each other. Save the hate for someone who really deserves it, like Autism Speaks.

Thirdly, on the subject of the proposed bill, some of the items may be beneficial. Note that I said SOME of the items MAY be beneficial. Personally I like having more funding going to school systems and individual parents, as well as having a section of Special Ed. devoted to helping Autistic children and their families. But yes, self-advocacy is key. Parents don't always know what is best for their children in rare cases, therefore I believe this panel should be composed partly of those on the high-functioning end of the spectrum.
