I slipped over to the thread for silent autistics, then through the one raising the notion that we suffer from einsteinitis and not AS, and then I thought that there are so many varieties of AS, HFA, and A(term?) that maybe we should pin down and coin some typologies of our own.

For example, maybe the non-verbal ones are... well... "Mutes" as coined in the NV forum.

Einsteinitis, struck a cord with me. At times I might also consider myself a "7 of 9" (from star-trek)

Any other types out there?

like the idea of a name that is less stigmatized...

but what happens if one happens to lack great visual abilities,high iq or other outstanding qualities?
