who exactly are they?

Characters from Final Fantasy VI.

I also like Tifa and Aeris both. But more Tifa. Aeris didn't have all that much personality.

And isn't this next one the best fanart ever?

They were okay, I'm not as big a fan of FFVII as FFVI.

Actually I liked Tifa's character. But well, perhaps I was just distracted by bosoms...

That's her only downside, as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah those things...

Actually I'm a tad offended that Final Fantasy had to um... stoop to such things.

I was pretty shocked, when I first saw her. I mean, I guess the female characters always -were- scantily clad, but you couldn't really tell back in the 8 and 16 bit eras.

A tad, I think that was just Yoshitaka Amano's artwork though... which is beautiful... regardless of the skin being shown. And at least they had proportions approaching reality...

I like it when games leave somethings to my imagination... 8)

Meh, there's nothing wrong with a little fantasy in games. You should see the size of Rachael's Breastfast. (Ninja Gaiden Sigma)

It's appealing and easy on the eyes, but I'd rather not be tempted by my entertainment choices in that way.

It actually distracts from the game's real merits.

Though she wasn't as bad as Jessica in Dragon Quest:VIII...

Now that is crossing the line. Tifa is at least 17.
