You dream
So deeply
So abysmally
Awakening?
Dreaming of awakening?
Of the beginning of the end
Of the ending of the beginning
You dream
Of those pure spirits, pure beings
Twin love, winged love
Giving love to all
Giving light to all
Incarnating
Into innumerable worlds and realms, planets and planes
At long last they return to the cosmic light
Their rapturous melody of energy
Blossoming delicately
Forming a luminous egg spun of purity
While deep within
Their twin children rest
So fragile, tiny newborns
They dwell within
Connected wholly
Linked by life
Sleeping silently
Growing, tiny seeds cocooned inside light
Eternally safe
Embraced
The song of the stars
Flowing harmony
The song of the planets
Euphonic rhythm
The song of silence
Whispering ephemeral
All one within the cosmic light
Gemstones and tiny crystals
Created from incandescence
Cover the egg completely
Darkest crimsons bleed into golden brilliance as bright as the birth of a silvery star
Shadowy indigo streams into somnolent sapphire and amethyst, akin to a nebula
Healing emerald and warm fuchsia collide gently
Prismatic diamond combines with purest immaculate
In one moment
In one quiet instant
The egg diaphanous
So impassive yet fluid
Shatters into fragments
Revealing the twin children
A Star Child and a Half-Wing

You awaken
The disorienting dream fading
Through the pale, softly dawning light
As the still darkened sky
Unifying the softly lucid motes of sunlight
Amongst the glimmering stars
Specks of crystal in an immense effulgence
This realm
Barren and lone
A beautiful, empty void
Overflowing with life
Flourishing flowers, plants, and trees
Flowing rivers, lakes, and seas
Yet you are alone, all-one
You wander purposely to a weaving stream
Loquacious yet silent
The reflection breaks into ripples
Blurring and warping
Those mysteriously white, slit-pupil eyes
The water creates clarity
The river returns, mirror-like
You feel the cherished warmth
Sunlight shining from a distant star
A dazzling burst of brilliance
Though the water remains reflective
While the light undulates on the surface
Holding thin, trickling handfuls
Of liquid light
There is no past
There is no future
Everything is now-here, everything is nowhere
Such is the infinite cosmos
Surrounding you
Rippling through you
Wholly connected
You laugh soundlessly at such joy
Sing through soul music
Dancing at such a free zenith
Spirit breathes, stirs within
You are nourished through life force in the air
With that breath, you begin and end on a journey
The sun blazes brightly
Strengthening the resolve
Deep within every essence
A distant song is calling
Yet you are silent and cannot answer
Only with a thin thread of soul music to guide you
To discover what you truly wish for

You dream
Of five elemental dragons swirling, coalescing, intertwining
Transparent, cascading, fluidity
Mountainous, colossal, earthy
Volcanic, intense, blazing
Unseen, vibrating, airy
Radiant, fair, luminosity
The dragons combine
Fusing energy
Forming a hollow realm from a dead planet
Amid elemental transformation
Pristine and blank
A nowhere realm, a now-here realm
A new home for the Star Child and Half-Wing
Twin beings
Now called Meridia and Kareth
Their love, entirely pure
Their love, eternally together
Slowly growing from newborns to children
They grow as close as twin fruit on one stem
Wondrous innocence
The explore this ethereal, halcyon world
A new aspect of Omniad
Hand and hand
A small, golden-yellow child, shining celestial
A small one-winged child, quiet and peaceful
Amid the poignant melodies of the cosmos
Amid the threads and strands of universal music
What is their purpose?
To be life, to be love
To grow in spirit
To show the way of all that is
To create and cherish
To celebrate in essence
To simply be
They explore secret caves and hidden lakes
Meri glows faintly with joy
As she holds Kareth and flies
Around icy mountains and dusty valleys
Over flat plains and flowering meadows
Across shady forests and meandering rivers
At night they sleep curled together under a cherry blossom tree
Then one fateful day
Meri sings so sweetly and purely
Weaving life energy and song
With Kareth fusing their creation
Light blooms so softly as their child is born
In that moment they live
As one being, not three
So beloved, the little one called Semi
IV
You feel so fragile
Carved from ice or brittle glass
Wandering as if a dissonant phantom
Wandering nowhere, not now-here
Wandering, of purpose lost
Through this silent void
Born of brightening, atramentous abyss
Entirely alone
Despite the fierce, fiery desire
That you cannot comprehend
That reverberates, palpitates
Pulsing, as if a second heartbeat
An echoing cry
A fair zephyr breezes by, rising
Carelessly, carefully, carrying
Stray cherry blossom petals
Somewhere, anywhere, everywhere
As you pass underneath the swaying, bursting branches
Watching the petals fall
Like little birds in the wind
What are you missing?
Searching so hungrily, desperately
Why?
To recognize love in another?
To see the light within all?
To find a reason for living?
Even though you have one already, even now?
You wander this emptiness
Until it becomes a part of you
Cocooned within nothing
While endeavoring to see all
With the gentleness
With the wondering nature
With the reverence, the innocence of a child
This realm is so very small
Yet large enough for three
So achingly wild and vivacious
What you are seeking
Cannot be found
Externally yet paradoxically
All the cosmos is within you
You rest awhile, the weariness becoming heavier and heavier
Encountering what is unseen
Still the furious hunger
Nearly devours any clarity
As the journey continues
Seemingly endless until
The truth of all that is revealed to you

You dream
Of the union
Of the tenuous, joy-filled life
Of every heartbeat
Of every breath
Of a fulfilling purpose
Completed
Dancing the cosmic dance
Gazing at the stars
At the vitally shining light
Sharing laughter
Sharing song
Sharing sorrow
Sharing an unbreakable bond
Dreaming of that cherished moment
Of the lost one whom you have not met
Wandering this realm born of dragons transformed
Leaving tiny footprints along a sandy shore
That vanish ghostly
As the waves break and breathe
This too, shall pass
For awhile you feel helpless, weakened
Though there is infinite power within you, within all beings
Such a small hand is but one comfort
As tears flow softly, silently
As you kneel there, overwhelmed
With the sunlight shattering through the leaves and warming the ground
Under the cherry blossom tree
There is no separation
No phantasmic veil to hide behind
Watching, waiting, wishing
Let the tears flow
Releasing every last piece
Until the twin heartbeats are one
What then, does light look like as seen without eyes?
You are here, always
Side by side
Guiding, protecting, raising
This small hand
Can you fulfill it?
That one promise, that one wish?
Can you embrace it?
That raw, haunting love?
VI
As if awakening from an eternal dream
You see that cherished family whom you love so dearly
Meri, kneeling there, still with starlight shimmering
Hazing gently, a celestial corona
Semi, grown to a young child
With similar wings and a faint golden sheen
Can you reach them through the grey veil that fell at your death?
You step closer, so utterly silent
An impenetrable pane of glass
Or immense, endless chasm
Seems to stretch between
Those last few steps
To the cherry blossom tree
To embrace those you love most
Semi has been dreaming Meri’s dream night by night
Of the life you share, of each moment
The birth of the cosmic egg begins the dream
Through the creation of this realm
To the love Meri gave you
To Semi’s own birth
As your death ends the dream
You stand there, unseen
One-winged
A sealed silence
White eyes staring
At your beloved
At the child you never knew
Caught between the illusionary death and the sweetness of all-life
Shadows dance and waver
Through streams of sunlight
Unending ghosts
The umbral tree whispers wearily in the wind
As Meri enfolds little Semi again, comforting
It is so effortless
To love them both from afar
You stand there, unknown
Torn in half by longing
Every gesture, every smile
So beautifully familiar
As you wish with every vanished heartbeat
To hold them close forever
You take one step, then another, so hesitantly
Yet overwhelmingly joyful to simply be
Close enough
As Semi turns to look directly into your eyes
As Meri turns and reaches for your hand
With a tearful, loving smile
