Do you have kids?
Do you care to share?

I have two daughters, aged 16 and almost 18 (woo hoo!) and they are both mostly NT with shadow traits. They have no social issues but definitely have sensory issues.

My avatar is a picture of my older daughter.

I have 4 children. Spence is 16, AS and gifted. T1 is 14, boy, NT with some AS traits. T2 is 13,boy and AS with NLD. Anya is 6, girl, ADD with AS traits. Spence plays violin and likes anything to do with Japan. T1 likes girls, music and plays goalie on his soccer team. T2 is a gentle child that loves his dog, plays a role playing game and basically makes life a joy for those around him. Anya is in hip hop dance, plays the guitar and is a social butterfly. She is starting to withdraw from crowds and social situations which makes me worried and sad but it may just be a phase (I hope).
They all have sensory issues and are very rule oriented and can be rigid. It makes for fun vacations!! :D

I'm confused, BlessedMom. All your kids have beautiful names, and then there's 'T1'. Is that his nickname or something?

BTW, I'm with you on difficult vacations. Trying to make everybody happy - that's a real challenge.

Yes. It is a nickname. The boys names are Spencer, Taylor (T1) and Tanner (T2). I gave my daughter a fake name because she is a little girl and I don't trust anyone.

That's interesting - I tell all kinds of private info on this board, yet I will not disclose my daughters' names to anybody! I guess as moms we have this bear instinct to protect our kids.

I have my Daughter L (got to keep to the format) who is NT. She turned 18, and promptly liberated herself of our household. Then joined the Navy. She loves people, TM and I always said she'd end up as the activities organizer on a cruise ship. Then there's TM's daughter, C. She's very NT. She's the one who was embarressed by TM and I holding hands and whispering to each other like a coupla teenagers in luv. She's married, has two sons, so I'm a grandpa ASpie. The interaction is always a challenge, but she knows I luv TM, so my quirks are tolerated.

I have one son. I have never disclosed his name online, it's very unusual. This site is the only place I have mentioned his nickname, Pop.
He's autistic.

I have two kids - H is an 18 year old male and is into writing code and music and has AS. My daughter, K is 16 and has NVLD. She's very artistic and musical as well. She loves all animals and bought 3 mice yesterday, unbeknownst to be, but that is OK.

Using the nicknames I gave them when posting about them on Television Without Pity:

Big Sister is 6 now, autistic, doing well with Sensory Integration Therapy and lots of big hard hugs from me (and rough play from her other daddy, when he's not on deployment). She's addicted to "Dora the Explorer", "Jack's Big Music Show", and the A&E production of "Pride and Prejudice" (the one starring Colin Firth). I think she may have a thing for Firth, actually, because she likes to watch another flick called "What a Girl Wants", featuring Firth as Amanda Bynes' estranged father. (She doesn't get the chance to perseverate on that one, because I hide it whenever I find it - I really don't care for the high percentage of vicious idiots in that film.)

Little Brother just hit 18 months. He's NT, although we'll keep an eye out for ADD signs when he's older (his daddy's ADD, but doesn't want to admit to his diagnosis). He's a pretty big fan of "Jack's Big Music Show" too, mostly, I think, because of the video for the song "Bongo Bird" (sung to a jazzed-up version of "B-I-N-G-O"). He's got a crush on the little girl (probably about 7 or so) who sings the song, and dances in the video. He puts up with watching the other kids, but gets this big gaping smile whenever the little girl comes on the screen... :)

I have 2 sons, Dylan (6) who has moderate autism and Brendon (4 on May 21st) who is gifted and non-autistic.

This is a new picture, I'm at top, Dylan is in the middle and Brendon is on the bottom.
