Did whitewater in Montana and Idaho. Lots of fun! Eh Im "committed" to a job and stuck in bf NC.

I love kayaking, but live nowhere near a lake or sea, so I don't get many opportunities to kayak. It is very calming.

I absolutely agree, kayaking is one of my favorite things for some nice repetitive-motion alone time. But I also wanted to add that we got a little rowboat- actually a "jon boat"- off a classified ad for $100 US. So it needn't be too terribly expensive.
