Skin peeling off at TKD
Hi, i attend a tae kwon do class every wednesday and every time i go, as mutch is i enjoy it my two big toes really hurt at the bottom and become hard to walk on. im presuming this is because the skin has come off. not only that but when it comes off it feels like rubber and doesn't fully come off. and i dont like to spend alot of time tugging and pulling at an area that really hurts to do so because A. it really hurts to do so and B. it makes my hands feel increasingly dirt. on another note regarding feet+tae kwon do. the hall seems to be really dirty on the floor every time i go. this often results in my hands getting really dirty too
. is it standard for all large halls with wooden flooring or whatever to be dirty? it seems most of them are. atleast the ones iv been in. so... yeah... in simple terms im asking, how do i keep my skin from peeling off my feet in tae kwon do? and is it a general thing for hall floors to be dirty and is it worth talking to my TKD tutor about it?

All the karate dojos I've ever trained in have been! We had to clean them the traditional way after each lesson - all line up at one end with a rag in our hands and crawl our way down the dojo pushing the dust to the end with the cloth, then scoop it up and tip it out the window.
I'm not sure on tae kwon do, as I've always done karate, but presumably you do a lot of twisting and pivoting on your feet? Perhaps it's the way in which you're moving on them, could you try and use a slightly different stance or put your weight down slightly differently and see if that helps?
As a short term measure, I'd try taping my toes on the problem areas so they slide more easily and the skin remains intact until it heals. Though obviously don't tape the entire thing or wear socks as that can get very dangerous!

You should talk to your TKD tutor because if you were to get an infection it would be a pain, imagine trying to care for yourself if you can hardly walk. I also suggest you rest your feet, and pamper them a little, with lotions, or salves I would suggest Burt's Bees hand salve for your feet it has comfrey in it which accelerates cell regeneration.

These are the ones. They are good for practice, especially on wood floors ....ouch!
