It sounds like you laid the situation on the table pretty well, that he misdiagnosed you and that the misdiagnosis caused some real problems.
Now, if you're like me, I often feel I did well at these kind of high-stakes conversations . . . but at the same time, I'm angry afterwards, in large part that the person is such a disengaged idiot. (and some of it seems to be this whole set of beliefs about being a professional, that the person can't engage as a human being, that even if the person admits they made a mistake it's such a veiled 'professional' way, or they might just admit the 'possibility' they made a mistake, as if that's suppose to make me feel better. The whole thing is ridiculous!)
Yes, there are some good psychologists, but I really think it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 25%.
