Kyle Coleman, 25, has a very nice singing voice despite having never spoken a full sentence in his life. Amazingly, he has released an album. He's the first non-verbal autistic person in the UK to do so. The album is called 'Therefore I Am' and it's available at iTunes where you can preview the songs or buy the album – http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/theref ... d502012476

Uhh, the "severely autistic" label again. But I really enjoyed the song, and I think I'll be buying the album! I'm glad the album happens to be of the genre I tend to enjoy.

Kyle's mother Caroline got him music therapy in Cornwall, UK, for over a year, then, on his 23rd birthday, she took him to a Plymouth recording studio. The studio owner was so impressed by his talent that he suggested they record a charity album. The costs of the album was covered by the National Autistic Society and it's part of their promotions for National Autistic Awareness Day on 2nd April. Any money raised will go to the NAS and other charities,

I see that the story is covered by some UK national newspapers such as the Daily Mail – http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic ... voice.html

I also see that Kyle has his own attractive website that gives you a chance to sample a few of his songs – http://kylecoleman.co.uk/
