This is an AS and music/writing/art topic.
How do AS folks deal with promoting their craft?
I've done some open-mic stand up, and write electronic music and both require a fair amount of promotion... that I don't know how to do.
How do you find the people who might be interested in what you do? How do I market and put forth the music I've created?
Spamming up various message boards seems rude, and I don't try to do that unless where appropriate.
Have any of those with AS found difficultly becoming part of a 'scene'?
It seems the most impossible thing in the world to get my stuff out there... to people who would enjoy it.
