2.- also, operating system(if you have a computer)

Have you gone to www.apple.com and looked at their guides first? It shows you what all the error messages mean and what to do, and the basics on how to solve most iPod problems.

Sorry for not listing the problem. It is finally working. I dont know it just wouldnt turn on or anything.

It probably crashed. In which case, if it happens again you need to perform a hard reset, though I'm not sure how to do that on whatever model you're using.
