Get to know people for the sake of getting to know people.

Going through life, looking for the oposite gender, asking/wondering if they are single, and hoping they'd be your BF/GF forever and ever?

Creepy.

How about make some new acquaintances first. What do you like to do? Join an interest group or a club.
