I love how we're judging each other in a thread about judging. Just saying, it's kind of funny to me. >.>

I judge people by how they act towards me. If a person acts like a toll; I'll call em a troll. Is judging individuals by their own actions really judging?

Yes. Judging is judging regardless of what is being judged. :)

Everyone judges everyone else about everything, forever.

Yup. It sucks but it's human nature and there's not much you can do about it really. :D

Its the case of everyone, with or without aspergers, male or female.

I'd rather be single than be with someone i'm not compaible with. For the rest of my life. In time you males who wish for just any girl to give you a chance will realise this.

Having AS has made me realize how bad NT's think.
We think much differently to them, because we are different they don't understand so they judge us. They are constantly comparing us to themselves.
We are wired differently. We accept NT's but most don't accept us.
I was talking to someone a while back who compared the 2 like this.
NT's are windows computers.
AS are MAC's.
One isn't better then the other, there just different. Then she said although MAC are the better of the two.
If majority of the population was AS, it would probably be the other way around with understanding and judging.
I did try chatting to a girl that played video games that is a family friend, but she ignored me.
I wasn't even trying to date, Just be friends. I really didn't understand it, I even asked my mum if i said something wrong. She was talking to me in RL when was over for lunch about games and movies.
NT's do my brain in when there is no logic.

@hale... i totally agree with you

You know, being at WP for all these years.. I really don't think many people with aspergers accept NTs. Your post reeks of judgement, and you say NTs compare us to themselves? What about the comparisons aspies make!

I kind of agree. I think us Aspeis are just as unaccepting of NTs as NTs are of Aspies. I think the problem is compatibility. Windows & Mac are very incompatiable just like NTs & us Aspies are

Being on WP for the past 4 months(?) I've come to the conclusion that I get along with guys who drive Nissans better than I do people with Aspergers Syndrome. Where is your AS/NT separation now?!?!

Is that the case for everyone with AS?
I gather its the social ackwardness and different interests. IE i like video games instead of drinking/going to bars.
I have pretty much given up. I just think its wrong and ignorant of people to be like this.
I've been judged all my life and not understood. I don't think anyone is better then anyone. We are all the same.
I've been told by alot of older people how good a person I am.

This was the case for me and I do not have AS. My problem was being shy and fearful. Girls do not like that. They don't mind quiet though - thats a different thing.

Expecting our worlds to mesh is like expecting someone from Nigeria and someone from Mexico to just click. I mean, it makes no sense. Even two Americans have a world of difference between them. I am not minimizing the difference from NT to Asperger's, but everything takes understanding and hard work to get past the initial bumps of first impressions. I was definitely judgmental of my AS man until I discovered AS. Then, I began to try to find ways to further understand him, and it's freaking hard! I don't think you should give up, OP. Life is hard, give or take, and people are people; but, sometimes, you will find a gem in the rubble. I think that too many people fail to see the whole as opposed to the flaws. But, like others have already said, there is not much can be done about it. Everyone does it, absolutely everyone. (Attribution theory is a great example)
