I'm not exactly sure if the kind of people I'm attracted to is a realistic goal for me. As a perfectionist, I tend to seek perfection in everything (including men) on my own terms. Maybe I'm destined to be alone. And maybe that's ok. I have yet to see whether thats eventually going to make me break down. Probably it will, but then again, maybe I won't live long enough to have to feel that way. You never know when your time is up. Ofcourse, I suppose I shouldn't use the hope of dying young as an excuse to not LIVE, because, what if I live a long time? I will have really screwed myself out of a relationship and alot else if I don't even bother to seek it out. But I seem to be very picky, and alot of times, EVEN if we are just talking looks-wise (but I am not shallow, I want looks, but personality too), whenever other girls think someone is HOT, I'm thinking 'uh.....whatever floats your boat'. lol.
I have been interested in different types of guys though, so I can't exactly say I am close-minded either. It just seems to be that there is no common 'type' I always fall for. it ALWAYS varies, person to person, I never seem to know who I'm gonna be attracted to next.
I'm attracted to sickly girls(like paraplegics) and tomboys.
It's not that the attraction to the sickly ones comes from feeling sorry for them, it's a real attraction. I dunno if it's a fetish or something, but . Not that the attraction would stop if the girl would be cured... then I'd have Mother Teresa Syndrome
And I mean REAL tomboys, not some amazon that tries to act manly while wearing girly stuff(and loves to fight and argue with "friends" just because). I really like the ones that're fun to hang out with and isn't after sex, but isn't opposed to a relationship. The more she has in common w/me, the better.
Girls I can't stand are the selfish jerks, especially the ones that try to be men(thinking everyone has to be treated the same in order to be equal)
Kinda wierd to talk about this when I'm not single, but meh...
There are a few characteristics I find attractive, on a purely physical basis. But most aren't as shallow as most guys I think, or at least in a different way than most guys. But personality, uniqueness and the general way a girl acts is much more important for attraction than just base looks.
On the purely physical, I find brunettes more attractive than blondes. The weight doesn't matter too much, extremely overweight is unattractive just as sickly skinny is unattractive too. I don't care if a girl is the same weight I am, or even more. And truth be told, some extra weight is actually attractive to me. It appears more natural, especially around the face. A bony face is pretty unattractive to me.
In fact, on the physical parts.. the face is most important. A nice friendly face, with expressive eyes.... about all I want in the looks department really. And low makeup use... makeup seems like the girl is lieing to me on her skin. Actually another truth moment, most of the grooming things a girl does... I really don't care about. As long as she doesn't emit foul odors, (and most perfumes are a foul odor to me) its all cool to me.
Personality is what its all about though. A pompous totally in your face girl, now thats not attractive at all. A nice timid, slightly shy girl with something about her thats unique... now thats attractive. A really quirky girl that doesn't really care for the current fashion trends, really attractive. Blissful Ignorance is pretty unattractive. As is a lack of humility.
An intrest in any of the following is an extra bonus for me, Math, Science, Video Games, Music (well most girls like music, but a strong interest in one of the bands I like is a plus... along with an interest in playing an instrument), some sort of creative outlet, some sort of philosophical ideas on something...
I don't know if a girl like this exists or not, it may be purely some construct in my head. Though I have seen some of these traits in girls, so a girl having all of these may not be too hard to find. The hard part is finding one that finds what I do attractive...

I like physical fitness. Not perfect body, but at least that you can recognise that they care something about their body(not looks, body) I would also like them to have self confidence, at least more than I have.
And for the physical, I have a bit of a thing for red heads. And green eyes, or an interesting shade of blue... (Wait, Brown hair is domainate, and blue/green eyes are rescessive. Crap.)
And smart, quiet boys.
Oi, that fits me rather well (except maybe the 'smart' part, but I guess that depends on what you consider 'smart' to be)... And Nova Scotia isn't really that far from Quebec, is it? Hmm, there could be something here... So long as you wear pants, that is.

1-A pulse.
2-Be breathing.
3-Human or an alien that appears human.
4-Not look up my kilt during the local Highland games.
Beyond that-I'm not to picky.
All kidding aside-Someone who would love for all that I am. Someone with compassion, honesty, intelligent and playful.
Someone who would my equal meaning that we wouldn't look down upon eachothers faults, or berate the other.
Someone who is true to themself.

I'm more attracted to the "girl next door/take home to meet the family" type. I also love a great (quirky as well) sense of humor. Bascially, the kind I'd see at a coffee shop or something. Looks wise, I'm a HUGE sucker for not just a girl with a great smile but dimples as well.
