That's a very good point, and I totally agree.

But earlier in the thread, people were taking offense to the fact that she used to want "bad boys." As if she were just trying to settle for something less with an AS person.

And the impression I get from her posts so far is that yes, she did want this guy (or guys) who she dated. Just like we all (hopefully) want the person we date, but he (they) hurt her and she learned that she made a mistake by taking a chance on this type of guy. And now she doesn't want to look for those guys anymore, because she learned that they are not that great at all.

So my comment wasn't really directed at you, except in the context of all the other previous posts flaming the OP. I don't think yours was a flame or anything, but a good observation. I guess I just feel bad for her because it seems like she just got her heart broken and a lot of angry guys hijacked this thread (or maybe a couple angry guys with a lot of posts).
