"Most" important? Not for you U.K. women, apparently. Although I did notice that "Single / Unmarried" did not appear on either list, so maybe all hope is not lost for men visiting the U.K. without their wives ...

This Article on the "People Skills Decoded" website, seeks to present four basic answers to the question "What Do Women Want In a Man?"

The answers presented are:

Confidence: They are comfortable in their own skin and they like themselves as they are. Consequently, they are sociable, they are genuine in social interactions, they are persistent and they don’t take crap from anybody. And women quickly pick up on this and it involuntarily generates attraction.
Masculine Energy: There is a wide range of characteristics that are generally masculine: decisiveness, dominance (not the same as aggressiveness), firm voice tone, strong eye contact, seeking challenge, having clear goals and ambitions in life, perseverance, practical thinking, being protective, achieving status, and so on.
Good Social Skills: Maybe they are funny or they are very fluent verbally. Maybe they are charismatic or they know how to make a girl feel special. Maybe they are good listeners or mesmerizing story tellers. Or maybe they have a mix of these qualities.
An Interesting Lifestyle: Men don’t need to have a James Bond lifestyle, but it does prove tremendously helpful if there are just a few elements in his life that make it un-ordinary, above average, and exciting. The lists of requirements the women had were horrible. I had lists like that when i was younger and more immature. Then i realised what was relevant and redid the long list into a short list and let everything else up to chance.

Example: Who cares if a girl does not like Startrek? Is that really more important than to have someone to cuddle with?

I may not know what a UK woman who reads the daily mail wants in a man.. but I do know what I want in a woman.. some one who doesn't read the Daily Mail.

To me, all this coach is focusing on is the person's attitude, faulty thinking, conclusions and confidence.

How do the shy guys derive their limiting erroneous beliefs in the first place?
How do they conclude that they are losers?
How do they conclude that they are sexually unattractive?

The workplace preaches this. The average joe preaches this and even some aspies on here seems to believe this without question. I see no rational basis for this belief of confidence producing positive experience and ability. Attitude does not produce ability. Attitude and confidence is not some muscle you can voluntarily flex. Positivity and confidence are by products of ability and positive experiences.

Those who I have asked to justify these beliefs including some aspies have never been able to do so. Sometimes they'll just restate the belief. It is almost impossible to have a coherent discussion with those who espouse this belief.
