I prefer the T-shirt with something weird on it look.I have a old classic Teen-aged Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt, and some other cool ones. They are softer and more fun than an itchy sweater vest.

My boyfriend is sexy to me in part because he is a chemistry nerd and likes Star Trek. It's the intelligence that is attractive, plus his long curly hair, etc. that's just different. Smart and different in cool ways is what "nerd" means to me.

I still don't like the whole "nerd" subculture.

Maybe I just hate everything, though.

Well, there does exist a nerd sub-subculture of people who hate everything.

We've uncovered your niche. :thumleft:

Mine, too. I really do hate *almost* everything. Was very fascinated by Chinese culture though.

^^^^^Like truly hate,as in malice or strongly dislike? That's a pretty strong word.
I get the sensory stuff,I don't like the way dogs smell, but I don't hate dogs.Just the smell of a real stinky one.

I am damn proud of being a nerd! A handsome, married nerd that feels NO guilt liking Star Trek (actually only the next generation) and loving chess! If my past has any worth as a predictor of my destiny,I will do quite well.

I find their barking and excrement to be annoying. As well as their need for attention.

EDIT: I meant of dogs, referring to two posts up. Not of nerds.

Anyway,

I love "their" need for attention! When I come home from work my dog (Varnog, the dog. Now there is a name only an aspie would think of! :D ) jumps up on my face, licks me and (I do not speak"dog" so I am only speculating) says,"damn I love you! and you being gone for even a few hours was really difficult for me!"
