Cracked.com articles are either very interesting or completely uninteresting. This article is the former.

It's confirmed: the worst kind of males will go for anything.

Although we probably already knew this.

There are profiles on pof that are exactly like this.

Good grief, an electrical engineer responded to this? Us intelligent women might as well go ahead and get 100 cats .... or join a nunnery. Yeesh.

I'd seriously like to know what the men who responded to her are like. This almost makes me want to try making an awful profile myself just to see what happens.

Her profile was too hilarious and light-hearted. The author should've made it more off-putting with a lot of serious deal breakers such as mental & physical illness, kids, large debt, criminal records, violent jealous ex-boyfriend, etc. I wonder men would message such profile if it had a pretty pic.

Now that was funny.

Expected, but funny.

One can argue that a profile can lie, but a picture can't. One can also believe that a great many people are fascinated by a pretty face (and body), as evidenced by the myriad of Glamor type magazines.

what the author doesn't seem to get is that it's very unlikely any of these guys wanted a real relationship with aaroncarterfan - they wanted a good hard wild & crazy f**k, or potentially an ongoing crazy fuckbuddy. The chances of anyone actually looking for love with her vs. lust are slim.

Horny.

Haha, this just proves that some people on the internet lack perspective on men.
This leads me to wonder why any woman who wants a man would ever go lonely in this era.
I guess if she doesn't want to have one-night stands every night.

Hey, I don't appreciate people bashing men who are unlucky enough to have a genetically extreme carnality problem and can't think straight when they're horny. Most of the men in my ancestry are this way as well. We can't control it. At least I'm considerate enough to lock myself in my room and try to ignore attractive women as best I can, because I want a monogamous and permanent relationship.
It doesn't make us bad people.

I agree with goldfish21, those guys were probably catch-and-release fishermen.

As a male who has Asperger's and a really bad OKCupid dating profile up, I sort-of wish there were a lot of women who would act the way men act on dating sites...

That's got to be the funniest thing I've read all week!   My favourite part was:

Quote:
- I'LL ONLY HAVE SEX WITH U IF IM PLANNING ON PRETENDING IM PREGNANT SO I CAN MAKE U DO s**t FOR ME. WHEN DO YOU WANT TO MEET UP?
- Tonight!

I guess it's not that irrational, really, because if he knows she's planning to pretend then he won't fall for it. So I agree that the profile wasn't all that horrible from the point of view of someone looking for casual sex.

Yeah, it's also possible that many men thought "there is no way she can be serious". Because some people never are. I can't stand such people myself, but there are enough of them and they seem to get along with each other just fine.

I admit I have just messaged a horrible-character girl on okcupid, this was my message:

"My self-summary I am bossy, arbitrary and overbearing kind of person!! !"
"I have shitty character, I can't agree with stupid people, I can't stand religion, vegans and gays. although all of my friends are either gays or religious"

Obviously, it's nice that you admit that you have a shitty character.

You are the first atheist I encounter who "can't stand vegans and gays". You could simply say you wouldn't date them but why all this hate?

"can I publish a book made out of my self-summary one day?"
Please don't, literature quality is declining already.

"Why do I attract only psycho?"
Because you do sound like a psycho in your profile, opposites attract is a myth.

"Why am I so old??"
That's life.

"Why I'm just a nerd instead of genius?"
Life isn't always fair.

"Why so many Indian and Turkish guys are writing to me?"
Because they are desperate and horny and they would write even to a cat...or sheep, as long it's of the female gender, I think.

"How benign tumors become a cancer?"
Google it.

"How to earn millions for traveling wherever I want to go?"
Uh...there's one easy way, but I don't think you would like to hear it.

"How to avoid pirates in the middle of the sea?"
Get in a submarine and shoot them with torpedoes.

"You should message me if
you are not afraid of me. I bet you are after reading all this stuff :-))))"
Oooo I am so scared, looking at me shivering. ~__~ O ya Mami!

"if you're younger than 42 and your IQ is AA."
You want a genius level? Why? Are you some sort of scientist? You don't sound like a scientist or even that brilliant to me.

"What I’m doing with my life
Actually, nothing really special. Traveling, buying, selling, chatting, drinking, eating etc. Looking for a perfect guy who can walk with me in woods and still prefer 5* hotel to cheap ones. Those criteria are hard to find in same person, especially if the guy is before 40 y.o. :)"

"i know about an existence of a business class tickets but i can't afford them cause i spend all money on expensive accessories and showing off living in decent hotels and going to expensive restaurants on my own. and i still don't earn to cover all at once. cause i'm (see above) lazy."

"I like when men are paying bills in restaurants. I'm not a bloody
feminist. In fact, I wouldn't need that guy sharing meal with me if
I asked to pay for myself. Some [spoiled by feminists] european men don't understand that. Let's say that I was a spoiled child. Paying bills, actually, it is only male thing left in men. They are not
strong anymore, they don't make a fuss of us, women, they need more attention and shoulder to cry on..."

"but if there was an ideal guy in reality why the hell would i be at dating site at first place??"

I suggest you to go to some Sugar Daddy dating websites or something. Your ideal grannie, I mean guy, should be there.

^ Ironically, she's a 83% match. The matching system is obviously flawed.
