Asexuality
Jesus H Christ was a famous asexual except for the few times Mary Magdalon f**ked him up the bum with a strap-on made from reeds and a cucumber! That's what the Bible says anyway, just ask the man who wrote it: Dan Brown in 1989.
Jesus sang to Mary- You don't have to put on a red light!
...put on a red light!
Mary was the only one NOT blaspheming when she cried 'Oh Jesus, I'm coming!'

Just a bit inappropriate...

Yeah, you're right it is inappropriate..
..well the cucumber was inappropriate..well at least unnecessary cause think about it: Jesus was a carpenter, right, he could of easily made a lovely magnogany dildo fashioned for a snug fit, no problem or he could get one of his dads to help either Joe or the one upstairs, whats his name again?
f**k me, I can't remember! anyway, not important..
Maybe ol' JC was the first to invent a dildo, so you see perhap his life wasn't utterly pointless after all!
But i wish i wouldn't
Would make everything more relaxed.
Word. I have experienced nothing but frustration, embarrassment and pain because of this wretched mating urge, especially since I'm usually happier by myself anyway.
Sometimes I wish I could reach into my brain and tear it bodily from my skull...

So, what is a person who CHOOSES against what they're inclinations are? Other than confused.
You can't 'choose' not to have the inclinations, only not to act upon them. I don't think this has a term though - we can call them 'Deniers'.
Or people for whom some of their specific inclinations or desires may be in conflict either with other inclinations or desires or with perfectly valid moral principles. Or was "deniers" not intended to be derogatory but merely a statement that they were denying themselves something to which they had an inclination? I must admit that complete asexuality seems rather appealing at times. Celibacy in point of fact has been my condition to date; however I am not immune to sexual attraction. In terms of principle I believe in abstinence before marriage and fidelity within it. Celibacy and marriage can both be blessed. Both are difficult. There is no particular reason why something should not be both. I hope this post does not irritate or offend anyone.

"Yes, I decided to be because it is emotionally easier."
That's closest. Although to be honest i'm not sure how much of it has been my choice or kind of driven upon me on account of feeling so disconnected from people in general that it would border on being bestiality...
my friend called me 'agoraphobosexual' the other day. I guess that sums it up?
Thank you for your clarification; I did consider that might be all you meant, and apologise if I came across as overly defensive. Do not most people exercise some degree of self control? (One would certainly hope so, or the world would be even worse than it is). I am conscious that I should discipline my thoughts more efficiently. I am prone to unrequited idolatrous infatuations with people. Is this an extention of my obsessive interest in subjects and objects?

Yeah, understanding things over the internet can be tricky and things can be read into, so no problem. In terms of self-control, I meant to a point where it would be deemed 'unnatural' by society. And yes, I think people with AS may have a natural tendency to have obsessive personalities - what a shame they tend to drift to members of the opposite sex, eh? Only disaster awaits there.
