Any Aspies out there who are NOT into "nerdy" thin
I've been waiting for a topic like this for a while. Inspite of getting 174 on my Aspie quiz,
- I love hanging out with people I don't know
- I've never had a curfew and I've walked home at 5 am after a long night out many times.
- I don't really like video games except driving games, esp. NFS and a few sports games like NBA, NBA Street, FIFA, etc.
- I don't like anime, manga,etc.
- I'm not into programming
- I love clubbing
- I DJed at a few parties back in high schoole
- I love playing basketball and football (I play either at least once a week)
- I've never had problems talking to girls, inspite of having a speech impediment
'nuff boasting

Me too. Talk to strangers all the time.

I'm too old for that. In the past two years if I have gone to bed after dancing till 2 in the morning on a Saturday, I haven't recovered by Monday. And I don't even drink alcohol!

I'm no good at ANY video games, although I did outbox a nerd friend on Wii once.

I don't have a TV anyway. And if I did, I would watch Blackadder, Red Dwarf, the news and documentaries.
- I'm not into programming
I am, but I don't want to do it all day every day. I like variety.

Me too!

Can't say I have done that. I do, however, thoroughly enjoy doing the ditzy blonde thing of going to a shopping mall with a friend and trying on clothes for an entire afternoon.

We don't have that in my country. But in that respect I am most definitely a stereotypical Aspie: not much into team sports. I find the science of the sports more interesting.

Definitely no problem in talking to the opposite sex either. I don't have a speech impediment. I think my father wishes I did, though; I speak very fast!
