I briefly suspected I had dependent personality disorder at age 17 (when I was too young to be diagnosed with it). From then on, I've been afraid of getting that diagnosis ever since. I eventually did get it last year, though for quite different reasosn than why I suspected it in 2003.

I never walk across at a red light, ever. I think it really annoys drivers at the crossing waiting for (their) lights to change but oh well. Even if a bunch of others have not waited for the green light and gone I'll still wait. The only explanation (other than being safety conscious!) I have for this is that I remember a girl at my primary school who lost her older brother because he unsafely crossed a road. I suppose the message sank in.

I'm biologically 23, but I have always felt that developmentally, I'm four years younger. Therefore, I think of myself as 19 years old.

I feel like that. From missing out on so much of what everyone else my age was doing in my teens, I consistently feel as though I've been 'fast-forwarded' to the present from those times.

Heyy, I'm 13 and a half.
8)

That sounds about right, actually.

It's just strange that people want me to be a "young adult" when I'm just coming into becoming a teenager. :?

My last name is a common first name and my first name is a common last name. If you switched my first and last names then the resulting name is more common then my real name. Needless to say, this has caused a bit of confusion.

When I was in elementary school I caught pin-worms. I could feel them squirming around in my anus which itched like hell. I caught them because I used to put my fingers in my mouth a lot and never washed my hands.
