So the question is this. What is it about a girl that you find attractive.

I find this sort of thing interesting.

Think VERY carefully before answering this question, Seanmw, because if you get it wrong you can't save and reboot, your romantic life will be eight kinds of screwed (and not in the good way)

In the eternal words of Admiral Ackbar: "IT'S A TRAP!! !"

There is no wrong answer when it's personal opinion. Besides, he kind of screwed himself to begin with if you look at the opening statement.

Not a trap coming from me though. It's a waste of time. I've never been one to play headgames. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. That sort of thing. I suppose that comes with age though.

finally someone who's sending me on a guilt trip for my faux pas.

personally, the rating's split 50-50 by 2 factors. looks and personality.
they could be the hottest girl in the world but if she's a b***h it's a total turnoff.

body doesn't have to be perfect. I'm not necessarily looking for that. but I'd think it's understandable that I'm not attracted really by too much weight. although height doesn't matter as long as they're not towering over me. (I'm 6'2''). my preferences on hair color are as follows and in this order: brunettes, blondes, redheads (although there are exceptional cases where i've seen cuter redheads than blondes.) did i mention i'm a sucker for a cute face? sometimes that can take precedence over other appearances. and idk, maybe it's just my different perception on life and things as an aspie, but i tend to find some girls cute that others might normally not. so it's speculative at best. beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that crap.

personality-wise don't like bitchiness. conceitedness or being full of yourself will earn my disdain. i like people who can be honest. trust is the foundation of all relationships and trust springs from honesty. people who take things seriously, but don't forget to have fun. i don't care if they can make me laugh or not. I've heard that crap a billion times from chicks "oh, i want someone who can make me laugh" and as someone with AS who has a sense of humor but isn't able to show it much, I'm not about to put pressure on anyone else to be funny just so they can be accepted. that's what comedians are for. if i want a laugh I'll go rent some Dane Cook. someone who's open-minded. close-minded people annoy me. someone i can hold an intelligent conversation with. personally i find small-talk worthless. I'm a practical man so i like to talk about serious things or aside from that for practical reasons. etc. I'm reluctant to put down specific traits mostly because i know the feeling of looking at someone's criteria and knowing you can't fit it because of AS. i know i'm being a little vague, but in a way i'm not even entirely sure what i'm looking for in a person, and secondly i'm very self-conscious about what people think of me. another thing that makes me a bit hesitant.

any further questions? anything that needs clarifying?
i could give more specific answers to less open-ended questions

Really? It wasn't meant to be a guilt trip at all. I honestly do find it intriguing what one person finds beautiful/interesting compared to someone else.

I guess I'm the rare one who has no ulterior motive when I ask a question?

There was nothing wrong with your answer at all. I found it to be quite introspective. 8)

oh sorry, that's a typo. i forgot to put the word "not" in there

i knowww though. i get accused of ulterior or alternative motives all the time. it's hard to get people to understand why i do or say things sometimes because they insist i'm just trying to cover my arse by making excuses when i try to explain it. but i just have a different way of carrying out my intentions when it comes to speaking and acting, different tactics that aren't the norm and by norm standards would be the average NT's way of going about trying to do something else. or at least looks suspiciously like something else i guess anyway.
if that makes any sense :?:

people favorite each others art. i stopped uploading ages ago, but i check in, and whenever i see a "favorite" its customary to go to the persons account, and give a "thanx for the fave" v and c are too close, and the posts have no edit

mine often go:

1. thanx for the face

2. *face

3. *fave....

4. sorry for flooding your page :D

^

I once told a guy that I had recently broken up with:

"When you get a ring, give me a chance" instead of "When you get a chance, give me a ring" as in call me. He still hasn't let me live that one down.

Seanmw ~ Yes, everything you said about being suspect to covering your own arse and tripping over words and intentions definitely makes sense. I find myself falling into the same unintentional mistake repeatedly.
