Henry Ford corresponded with Adolph Hiltler.

Hitler got the idea of the Volkswagen from the Model T.

During WWII both England and Germany fielded jet fighters.

A digital computer was used by England to de-crypt German secret messages.

I know Germany used the Messerschmitt in 1945, but wasn't England a bit later with that?

- An octopuss has nine brains. One in the cranium and in each arm, with the exception of the small tentacles some octopusses posses. It´s the most intelligent animal that breathes in water.

- The starfish is the only animal that can turn its stomach inside out.

- The only food that doesn't spoil is honey.

- A bee has five eyes.

- Two-thirds of the world’s lawyers live in the United States.

- 1 in 5,000 North Atlantic lobsters are bright blue.

- Elephants are the only animal physically unable to jump. This is because of their enormous weight.

~ahem~ [clears throat] Not at all. We invented the Meteor. The irony is that neither we nor the Germans used the technology effectively. We used it to knock down the V-1's, and Hitler wanted to use it for bombing.

In the 1960s, the Joint Chiefs of Staff came up with a plan called Operation Northwoods to frame Cuba by "develop[ing] a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington" as a pretext for war with Cuba.

Barak Obama has declared his intention to "hand over Luis Posada Carriles, the widely acknowledged mastermind of the bombing of Cubana Airlines Flight 455 that killed 73 people in 1976, to the Venezuelan government for prosecution."

Carriles, an ex-CIA contractor, walked free in Miami for several years during the Bush Administration.

Not happy with all of Obama's decisions since his election, but at least he's doing something right!

I have to nitpick some of these, sorry (:D):

Quote:

Kind of -- their nervous system is quite different from ours and is not all concentrated in one huge brain like ours. There are big nerve centres in the places you mention though, and a brain in the head which is not much more than another nerve centre.

Quote:

Two big eyes and three barely functional, vestigial ones.

Aren't all lobsters blue? The European North Atlantic lobsters certainly are.

10:1 actually. There are 4 million people and 40 million sheep. I've heard this one a few times and the ratio is different each time -- I've heard it as low as 4:1 and as high as 20:1.
