Oh, I'm going to look up a recipe for that :-) - most of the bacon in the US is smoked, but I bet it will still be delicious.

There are different recipes but it is just suet pastry so the rest is simple.
I ate this for supper last night too.
I am having it today as well.
This was probably what people ate during the war because of rationing.
The trouble is that it is so big and lasts forever - you could feed a family of 10 I reckon.
I am going to freeze some as I really would like to eat something different tomorrow no matter how yummy it is.

I have orthostatic hyportension [alternating with general hypertension when i'm not bending over] as well, but I can't have much salt as it makes me swell up like a balloon. :|

Homemade saag aloo paneer - I guess that's what it would be called - spinach with potatoes in a very hot curry sauce with diced Indian paneer cheese and ghee. Took a couple hours but it's been worth it. It'll be really tasty tomorrow.

I have two steaks that have to be cooked tonight - doing them with broccoli, red and green peppers, and ginger-garlic-soy. That's something else that improves after a night in the fridge.

Although it's very cute when bunnies do it. (If you love bunnies, and know about cecotropes, anyway.)

8O imagine if humans did that routinely :eew:

A bite of a cocoa chia seed cracker. It was disgusting, so I didn’t eat any more of them!
