Oh, I'm going to look up a recipe for that :-) - most of the bacon in the US is smoked, but I bet it will still be delicious.

There are different recipes but it is just suet pastry so the rest is simple.
I ate this for supper last night too.
I am having it today as well.
This was probably what people ate during the war because of rationing.
The trouble is that it is so big and lasts forever - you could feed a family of 10 I reckon.
I am going to freeze some as I really would like to eat something different tomorrow no matter how yummy it is.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy - tasty, economical, and a lot of it - this is definitely going on the menu! Thank you :-)

I load almost everything with salt, I live on sodium. Keeps me from passing out (postural orthodontic tachychardia syndromes, POTS)

Last ate some really dry biscuits

Oh my gosh! I just realized my phone autocorrected orthostatic to orthodontic! I don’t know how I looked over that. hahaha

I ordered dinner, I had spaghetti with meatballs, it was too spicy, I didn’t finish it. I brought another meal for tomorrow night, I ate that.

A veggie burger for lunch, even though my family and I have plenty of leftover Thanksgiving food to finish.
