^^ hope you feel better soon.

Green stew - someone brought this to a potluck, god, 40 years ago? And I copied it: it's a stew of hamburger (browned with black pepper, garlic, onions) with zucchini (sliced, then each slice quartered), mushrooms (white button) and green beans (French cut), with beef stock added.

Brown the hamburger, add the onions & cook til transparent, then add the zucchini, then the cooked mushrooms and green beans, water to the level of the ingredients, and a stock cube. About 1/2 lb of burger with a small onion, 4 oz of mushrooms (cooked weight), 1 cup zucchini (uncooked), 16 oz green beans (cooked weight). You can do this all in one pot. Simmer for 20 minutes and enjoy.

You won't believe how good this is. It's amazing. If I don't package half of this before I start eating, I'll easily eat all of it in one sitting.

McDonald’s out of all places? Most cities have local fast food that is better quality and the same thing—burgers and fries.
