The lyrics actually say "revved up like a deuce," which is a type of car or something...

^oh, after 6:00 it sound like it's saying "teenage douche" when the singing gets layered

Some lyrics are nearly incomprehensible.

In the song, "Venus," the lyric "I'm your Venus" sounds like "I'm your penis."

I misheard the word "minarets" as "Memorex" in Rock the Casbah. There was also a commercial that interpreted the key line as "Stop the Cat Box."

"I came in like a rainbow!"

Actual lyrics: "I came in like a wrecking ball!"

I like my (mis-heard) way better.

Regarding songs others have mentioned:

I found the lyrics "the job's a joke, you're broke" in the Friends song incomprehensible until I put on the closed captioning feature on my television.

"Jive talking" was interpreted by me as "child talk."

This thread gives me an idea for a humorous speech for Toastmasters, "Mondegreens," about misheard song lyrics.

My misinterpretation "But if you got a n****r, won't you lay your money down". For years I wondered why they allowed a racial slur on the radio.

I misinterpreted the "Blinded By The Light" lyric as "douche" also

A mixtape my parents always played in the car when I was very small featured this Glen Campbell song:
"Country boy
You've got your feet in a lake
But your mind's under the sea"

Or more accurately:
"Country boy
You've got your feet in L.A.
But your mind's on Tennessee"

In my defense, I didn't know much American geography when I was 5.

Once, I decided to learn a song written by a couple of friends of mine. I transcribed the lyrics by ear off a recording first and got them to check it. Turned out I'd mangled practically every line, including baffling mistakes like "little white flies" for "little white lies."

This thread is making me so happy right now.

White Stripes Blue Orchid: I hear "You tickled my orchid and turned it blue", but it's really "You took a white orchid and turned it blue". Personally, I think my way is better.

Actual lyrics: "And baby, your smile's forever in my mind and memory"
What I heard that prompted me to look the song lyrics up, even though I really didn't like the song:
"And baby, your smile's forever in my mind like matte marine"

In the instrumental "Rebel Rouser" it sounded like they said "Donald Duck," even though there were no lyrics.

Not a misheard lyric, but one I altered purposely to reflect a special interest:

"Jenny, Jenny," reworked as "Deni, Deni," the nickname of Denis Istomin

"The Boxer": my ears chastely supplied the line
"Used to come home from the wars on Seventh Avenue"
to replace
"Just a come-on from the whores on Seventh Avenue".
I was quite startled to learn the real words.

In the run-up to Christmas at primary school, our teachers kept telling us it's "Good tidings we bring / To you and your KIN," not King. We didn't believe them. What kind of stoopid word's that, doesn't even rhyme properly.

"Oh... What's love, Doctor Who, Doctor Who was it?"
(Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do With It" as I heard it aged about 10)

What I heard:
"Body like a backhoe..."

I didn't even hear most of the other lyrics in the song because I was too busy trying to make sense of that.

Actual lyrics:
"Body like a back road..."

Well, I wasn't expecting the actual lyrics to be that, but at least that makes a little more sense.
