Fallout Boy is possibly one of the most gayest bands in the history of mankind (they do have SOME decent songs but other than that, they suck). You can't even tell that their emo music. Now, Bullet For My Valentine is both emo and metal, and you can feel the passion that they have, unlike Fallout Boy. So, why don't you tell me what YOU think about this.

Opeth would kick the *(^&*^*&% out of both of them.
Type O negative would kick the &*(&*^** out of both bands, then drink their blood.
Ozzy would just bite their heads off.
Metallica would blow their eardrums out, then sell that on a CD with t-shirts and other merchandise.
My Chemical Romance would just sit there and cry, wishing that they were as good as either band.
Brittany Spears would make out with every one, and leave them too tired to fight.
Panic at the Disco would turn the whole fight into a gay musical.

Shall I go on? lol

Don't know Fallout Boy, have friends who are big on Bullet though, I got the 2007 cd I think? (the one with Tears Don't Fall, etc.)

I'm a Bullet For My Valentine fan, but those are two completely different bands.

BFMV are what you call "metalcore." Metalcore bands usually have some great riffing, but the vocal parts are quite melodic. Though unlike other bands in the metalcore sub-genre (such as All That Remains, Five Finger Death Punch, Shadows Fall, Sonic Syndicate and as of most recently, maybe Trivium), BFMV are indeed a bit poppier, lyrically dealing with subjects, yes, more on the emotional side. But they are absolutely not "emo."

BFMV are clearly better. But I think FB appeals the a larger audience. By that I mean, y'know, every 14 year old girl on the planet.

I wonder just how many 14 year old girls rag on their parents 'til they buy them his signature Squire bass when they have no intention of learning how to play it.

That's okay. There's nothing wrong with that at all.

Alright then, Metalcore.

Bullet for My Valentine are a great band that have a crappy fanbase (although fever disappointed me.) I don't like band worship and I don't know what band has it worse, Bullet For my Valentine or Slipknot, but both have earned respect. Give them their dues please...they are far better than Fallout Boy.
