I have several favorites. I guess I most relate to Maggie. She has demonstrable genius but she has been unable to communicate. She's always sucking the pacifier or petting the dog or otherwise stimming. For all she is ignored, she continues in her own world. I also like Lisa, the mad scientist, smithers, comic book guy, and the mad scientist ( who I am totally unlike with his discombombulated Yiddish speech but I like his mad passions).

I still like it but I do find that the humour is getting a bit stale.

So of the core character's(ie the simpson family), my fave is Grampa

of the regular recurring/supporting cast either Dr. Frink or Lunch Lady/School Nurse Doris

and of the guest starred/cameoed characters Mona Simpson and "Bleeding Gums" Murphy

Mr Burns is probably my favourite character.

I love the episode where Bart tries to jump Springfield Gorge on a skateboard and the flashback episode where Homer courts Marge in high school. Which seasons are these episodes from?

I like the Simpsons, but I like the older episodes better. Now it seems they're running out of ideas and putting random things into the episodes.

Hmm...My fave character. Don't think I have a favorite. I really love Homer and the trouble he gets in, and then when Marge has to clean up the mess. Sometimes I feel sorry for Marge.

the simpsons have been a big part of my life, i have grown up with the series... i would say that the older episodes seem better scripted.

it is difficult to pick a favourite character, as far as quoting goes i am a big fan of moe sizlack, ralph wiggum, mr. burns, professor frink, apu nahasapeemapetilon, barney gumble, groundskeeper willie, principle skinner, nelson muntz, the simpsons themselves... they are all pretty funny, but i have a soft spot for moe's type of crazy.
