I've read somewhere that Darryl Hannah is an aspie. I've seen a couple of interviews on TV with her, and I can see where she might have AS.

Any thoughts on Ben Franklin and James Madison?

The only things that I can think of that would disqualify them are that Franklin never had a shortage of female companionship and Madison got Dolly, the ABSOLUTE *BABE* of her day, the woman who EVERY guy who knew of her lusted for her.

I normally am not one to even begin to speculate as to whether famous people are AS/ASD or not, but I do seriously wonder about Dave Matthews.

According to Wikipedia General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson (CSA) may have been an aspie. This is obviously after the fact speculation, though.

I have lost count how many posts have been published on this board about celebs and famous people that may or may not have autism or asperger's syndrome. I can't really tell, really, who might have it or not. It's much easier if we didn't try to know. But if you had to name someone - Dan Aykyroyd from what I have read has mentioned that he has it.

Peter Sellers was histrionic. I think because he didn't really have his own personality he had to "be" other people. Hence the acting and acting out, drugs, womanizing, etc... if you've read his biography or seen "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" (I think that's the title) with Geoffrey Rush. I've been a fan of Peter Sellers since I was a little kid.

that Daryl Hannah is Aspie; she chooses to live very simply on a farm in Malibu. Keanu Reeves is highly suspected; in fact, he "borrowed" so many mannerisms from his Ted Theodore Logan character due to his discomfort with the spotlight during interviews that most people think that's his personality. Andy Warhol is suspected of having hfautism. I highly suspect James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar) has Asperger Syndrome. Tim Burton is confirmed to have AS.
