Hurray! I love rabbits. I think you must be a very good caretaker if Tobby lived for 5 years. I am happy you will have your own rabbit -- I'd get one, except that my dog likes to chase rabbits. He's never caught one, and I don't want him to!

I'm so sorry you lost Tobby and can't get another rabbit. My youngest son is also really into bunnies. I got him one when he was four and he loves him. Sadly my husband has developed a severe, life threatening, allergy/toxic reaction to the rabbit and we have to get rid of him immediately. The rabbit is also sick, but I think he'll get better, it's just the timing is so bad because who's going to want a sick rabbit?

Yay! You just need to keep on nagging them with things like this. My parents have been like that with some of the reptiles i've wanted.. But when i get my mind on something i don't let it go, so they've had to give in to my stubborn-ness many times.
