Apparently Legendary Pictures, the movie studio behind The Dark Knight, Where the Wild Things Are, and most recently, the Clash of the Titans remake, are going to do a remake/reboot of Godzilla. Personally, I have hope that this may end up being a good remake and that they have learned from Tristar's mistakes. However, I'm also a bit worried that it may put me to sleep like Batman Begins and 300 (I STILL hate that movie despite sleeping during the end of it) did.

With that said, only time will tell whether this movie is good or not.

Oh, no! There goes Tokyo! Go go Godzilla!

(Sorry, couldn't resist that. Ever since I started dating my current gf my sense of self-restraint has gone out the window.)

hopefully it'll be better than the 1998 version...that was just...

"That's a lot of fish."

one of the fantastic lines from that movie.

This guy is going to direct it, according to LP.

Just kidding!

Seriously, I hope they don't screw up. Otherwise, it's goodbye Godzilla.

Hopefully the paper buildings and the guy in the Godzilla suit are all in 3D.

Yeah that is a great song do you believe I was just hearing this song? :)

"With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down.
Helpless people on subway trains
Scream for God as he looks in on them.
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town."

I know, right? Should seriously do a cover of this for the ending credits of this up and coming movie.

And then he'll challenge everyone who hated it to a boxing match. Who needs criticism when you can just beat the snot out of your critics?

Seriously, though... You cannot imagine the amount of apprehension I am going through right now.

Well, it couldn't be any worse than the last Godzilla remake.

I love the original Godzilla movies.

That obvious fake monster stomping on obviously cardboard buildings.

They are so bad they are great, if you know what I mean. Those 1950's low budget horror films are now great classics of "camp" film making.

Sure, they could remake them in realistic 3-D computer generated glory but that would be boring because the plots are so silly.
