I dreamed that an article I wrote about Denis Istomin actually got published in a tennis magazine.

My dreams have been fuller, lately. Last night I was away for so long.
I really lived it.

I suppose you can take an idea from a girl in a dream, since you thought of it really.
I was speaking French, anyway.

I wish I could remember the other one. They woke me up and they were still there when I did, it was like it all blurred between them.

And I was in a shop full of relics and old saints and books and I was thinking it was real, but when I turned to leave there were two things, I can't remember one but the other was a frame with a picture I saw here, it was like I was trying to shock myself.
Remind myself, rather.
But that wasn't a dream, that really happened. That was two days ago, or three, I was really there and I really saw it, an arcade in Bruges.
Oh but I didn't.
I did, but it wasn't.
I'm no more confused that I usually am; something's just got at my brain.

I dreamt that it was night time and my tin can out in the dark woods are surrounded by "deliverance"-styled yahoo troglodytes, all yelling at me to come outside and take what's comin' to me. :o

You dreamed of chimpanzees?

I honestly don't remember much about that dream, sorry. :?

How did you get "chimpanzees" out of what AB described?

You must have "Deliverance" confused with some other movie.

Pan troglodytes, the scientific name of Chimpanzees. That's how. :nerdy:

Sorry if I confused you. :(

A "troglodyte" is "person who lives in a cave", or "prehistoric stone age cave man", and by extension "a modern day person who is deliberately ignorant, or old fashioned".

So the word is usually used the way AB used it to mean a primitive attitude person. But not someone THAT primitive (so much so that they are of another species!).

Why scientists gave chimps that name for the Linnaean classification I don't know.

"Pan" is the name of a particular dude in Greek mythology who happened to be of the satyr persuasion.

Satyrs were human above the waist but were goats below the waist. So they were half-human, and half-animal.

So, I dunno, apparently scientists decided that chimps were like cave dwelling satyrs. Chimps don't live in caves, but compared to other animals they are unusually human like.

Our species name means "wise man", but we are not particularly wise.

I think the dream was commenting on waking doubts about something that transpired between you two.

there was an out of place glass vase under the desk in the bedroom. it was full of water, and had many of these tiny floating orb-like things in it. they were white and spherical with countless tendrils upon them. upon grabbing the vase, they started floating into the air as if moving through water, and descended upon the arms. tried to wipe them away, but they’d just flatten against the skin as if not even there to the touch. upon having no idea of how to get them off, thought to tense the muscles and outstretch the arms downward, and they began bursting like bubbles and misting blood everywhere. it was a rather bizarre mess... and then a blue chow chow entered the room?

Last night, I had a dream where I was taking a road trip on Old Highway 80 thru a section of the Imperial Valley in southern California called In-Ko-Pah in a 1979 Chrysler Newport. I was afraid that rocks were going to fall on me & give me a concussion. As I was having the dream, I was awoke at 2:17 a.m. by the loud Attention Signal which was previously used for tests of the Emergency Broadcasting System on television & radio stations. The sounds were coming from my cellular telephone sending me the following text message, which I think came from the police:

Emergency Alert
AMBER Alert

Lemoore, CA AMBER
Alert: LIC/8C25215 (CA)
2006 Brown Chevrolet
Colorado

Growing up, when I was a kid, my late paternal grandparents lived in Yuma, Arizona, and my parents used to drive out to visit them with myself & my two brothers. Interstate 8 is the route to get from San Diego, California, to Yuma, Arizona, and it is the route we always took. My Dad always drove the whole way. Old Highway 80 is the name of the predecessor route which connected Yuma, Arizona, and San Diego, California. Parts of the old highway are still used today, and I have always wondered what is on the old highway. I hope I can drive it some day.

Earlier yesterday, I was reading the Wikipedia article & watching You Tube videos about the 1979 Chrysler Newport, and last night, while I was watching television, I saw a picture of this kind of car on the show I was watching. The Chrysler Newport was a police car in 1979, and it is weird that it was in a dream which was interrupted by a message from the police.

I was playing with Play-Doh, and when I was finished with it, it started to melt like ice cream. I was worried about the colours getting mixed together and the Play-Doh getting wrecked. I was thinking that it should come with an eyedropper and some vials so that when it melts, you can seperate it.

She is struggling with her schoolwork, like I did when I was in school.

Yes, I try and help her out when I can, but sometimes I don't get a chance to help her with her schoolwork. :/ And I'm worried that she will start getting Fs.

^^^has she been in special ed?

I dreamt I was in some kind of college student body lounge between classes, and I was sitting at a white round table with a few other students, and one of them was arguing with me about paul McCartney, I said I think I could understand what paul was thinking when he composed a certain song [can't remember after waking] and the other student, after repeatedly telling me "no he didn't!" and "that's not the truth!" shouted at me angrily, that I "know nothing about nothing at all!" :x
