This dream was intense and intricate. I dreamed that I had found my soul mate. She and I had a history. I remembered every detail ( hence intricate). I knew her family, when we first met.... Then we both realized that we were both only dreaming. She gradually disappeared into a fog as we both cried.

I had snippets of remembered dream where I was in a high-end audio salon listening to my dream [waking] sound system that cost as much as a house. a big house.

I dreamed that I was at high school again, but I only seemed to have two classes, none of them with teachers I recognized, and I grew so bored that eventually I just walked out of the school. Weirdly, everyone else seemed to have the same idea, and all of the students poured out of the school--and the teachers held the doors open for them! I met up with my friend, and we walked along the sidewalk up to the road to my house, but I had to fight my way through a bunch of twisted branches and crawled through a car [?!], though my friend politely opened the door on the other side for me. We got up to the road, and noticed that all of the other students were running around doing random things, and a couple of them were on the other side of the road running around someone's house. 8O The heck?

in our local market, that would be in my estimation about a $100k house with our depressed market here, which in seattle would cost $500k. IOW the audio equipment I auditioned cost 6 figures. also auditioned its little brother which cost "only" 5 figures. 8O the speaker wire alone cost $100 a @#$% FOOT! 8O

I had a doozy of a dream last night.

In the dream, I was a military specialist in getting information from terrorists.

So we took an old underground missile silo and built multiple cells in it. Each cell was very heavily insulated so that someone in one would never know that he wasn't completely alone in the world.

Each cell was also quite large. As large as a large one bedroom apartment, but with no apparent door. Think about the ending in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, but without the fancy statuary:

Also without the monolith. Everything in the dream was white with very little contrast.

There were hidden cameras to view the prisoner as well as hidden microphones and speakers. The prisoner would never even see guards. In the day, the lights were on for 15 hours and then they would go out for 9 hours. That 9 hours would be totally dark except maybe for some faint light to help him find the cracker and some soft light for an hour in the middle of the "night" to stimulate an old time first sleep / second sleep pattern.

There was no tv set. Also, some carefully controlled reading material.

Over the hidden speakers would be played very calm music and religious (not necessarily Christian) discussions, but only in the daytime. Also, someone with a very calm and smooth voice would engage the prisoner into religious discussions. It would be available at regular times of the day as well as any time the prisoner clearly asked it a question. Of course, the prisoner might not get an answer, especially if he ventured outside of the standard topics.

The goal would be to build up a rapport with the prisoner and to encourage him toward a different and very peaceful religious view where he would eventually renounce his old lifestyle and provide information about everyone involved as a confession.

Also, the food, especially its flavor and spiciness, would vary depending on how well he was cooperating. The more peaceful he was and the better he cooperated, the better the food.

Also, there was a clock/calendar on the wall, but the calendar changed slowly. The prisoner saw each day as repeating for several days, especially when he misbehaved. Each day that the day stayed the same, the music and religious discussions played over the speakers remained identical. Also, the food would be identical.

The dream was about a prisoner who had been captured unconscious and who was put into the cell still unconscious. He went to bed somewhere in the Middle East and then woke up in the cell. He never saw his captors at all or even knew he was captured.

Warning: Violent Content! Reader discretion is advised!

I was dreaming that I was at a prestigious award ceremony and that I was on stage giving an acceptance speech. I don't know what I won for and I don't know what I was talking about in my speech, but I did receive an extreme standing ovation.

After the ceremony, my family quickly flew me back to Portland without no one seemingly giving notice. After my mom lands in Portland, she and my sister were confronted by my grandmother and my uncles. My uncles looked at my mom and my sister and demanded my whereabouts. They then pointed knives at my mom and my sister and at first, I wanted to intervene but didn't because my mom and my sister kept their composure.

What became odd is that my mom and my sister started singing upbeat music as they started beating up the uncles. I cheered my mom and my sister on as my grandmother slowly approached me. She demanded that I give her my award statue. My mom and my sister continued singing as they knocked my uncles unconscious.

My mom then took a block of wood and knocked my grandmother unconscious.

The dream then ended with my late father commending my mom and my sister. He then looked at me and commended for something I didn't understand. He then helped me place my award statue in a place that in reality, my grandmother and my uncles would not view as very appealing.

To both Eric, and AnonAnon

8O 8O 8O

To Eric:

Might actually work.

actually many experts say that the young folks who become terrorists are the ones who are the least knowledgable about their Islamic traditions. The ones who are stepped in the Koran are bad bets to be recruited by ISIS or Al Queda.

Like the Bible, the Koran has seemingly contradictory passages (peace and forgiveness, and tolerance here, and then violence against the infidels there). So a prisoner hearing piped soothing voices quoting only the peace loving lines from scripture (with a helping of words from Sufi preachers, but none from angry Wahabist preachers) might well be turned.

I had a dream that my brother and my mom had decided to take away all my doll and stuffed animal collections away, stuff them into garbage bags and get rid of them. I was very upset and begged them to let me keep at least a few (of course it would take me forever to make up my mind), but they wouldn't let me and I said fine, I'll just buy more anyway.

The dream reminds me of how when I was younger and not diagnosed my mom thought it wasn't normal for a teenager or a young adult to still be collecting and role-playing with dolls and stuffed animals, and my brother was a typical jerk. They understand now why I was like this but the memories never go away. :(

I dreamed that I was flying through space, and entered this huge, mystical eye that suddenly appeared, and there was suddenly waves and a shore of some kind, and then I was flying through the underground in increasingly smaller space, surrounded by rock and dirt, and when the space got smaller than I could physically fit into I yelled 'Stop stop!' and the dream ended.

It probably was. I don't remember what I dreamed last night. Maybe tonight I'll try again.
