I love this movie to pieces, wonder if
a follow-up movie is in question...

But my favorite has to be Good Morning Vietnam.

It always makes me laugh when I see heaven portrayed without God in it. If there isn't the one then there can't be the other. Because heaven without God would be just a place that humans live in... and believe me, we'd mess it all up again, just like we did this planet.

Don't talk about things you have no knowledge about, please. Also, I think you're looking for the PP&R section.

That's okay, I was just responding with my reaction to the movie in question. But you're right, it was inappropriate for this thread, sorry.

Any other favourite movies of his? I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only one to have seen Seize the Day and Moscow on the Hudson?

One hour photo? Death to Smoochy? I don't know... he was on Letterman the other night though.

Jakob the Liar. I had to watch this movie in Holocaust class once and I thought he was more believable than he was in any of his other movies (which admittedly, I haven't seen many of them. But he was better in this than Flubber or Mrs. Doubtfire.)

Hey, clummsybee... you need to see him in seize the day, or moscow on the hudson, my two favourite movies of his... I completely forgot who he was in either of these, and as a russofile, I really believed he was a Russian emigre .... he's a brilliant actor, when given the right roles.

He had what I believe was an uncredited role in The Secret Agent, where he plays an anti-social, sociopathic anarchist bomber. For you Joseph Conrad readers out there, yes, this movie is based on the book of the same name.

Only one other person mentioned Bicentenial Man? Maybe it's because his character was named Andrew, but I feel so similar to him in this movie. After all, he slowly becomes physically human while eventually becoming mentally human as well. As an aspie, it's like trying to figure out the world (but we don't have 200 years!).

Aladdin, of course. :D I LOVE Genie. I like his entrance, when Aladdin first rubs the lamp. I feel terrible for him when Jafar has the lamp. Poor Genie. I think Robin did a great job in getting Genie both comical and serious.

Tie between Aladdin and Dead Poets Society for me.
